Was kolhapur really cheap? Wasn't he also taking care of accommodation and travel expenses?

The place where they were shooting in kohlapur is a govt funded project to promote entertainment industry. So In comparison to Mumbai where they had to pay rent and also high rate interest , kohlapur seems easy option. Accommodation I think sikku was taking care of but still It wasn't some 5 star hotel that expenses might hit the roof. It was an average resort in terms of money

Travel expenses in terms of to and fro from their residence to sets. Not personal Travel fare. I think their residence and set was close by , so even that wouldn't have cost him much.

Also leads weren't given too many costumes. They repeated their wardrobe quite regularly, which were also of poor quality. All in all poora cost cutting kar ke rakha tha.
