Shamita knows she ain't going anywhere so she doesn't consider the task important enough. Even Teja and Karan are MG contestants but they were performing.

She knows Bigg Boss won't say anything to her. Salman won't say anything to her. Getting dirty in mud is below her "class". It was the first time someone directly told her about her privilege, even brought Salman's name.
