Since I have criticised their work, it's fair enough, I appreciate them too when they have done a good work. Especially makers.
Today episode is really praiseworthy.
Starting from the writing, execution, dialogues, acting... Everything was on point.
I said the writing in today's part was on point because today there was no chance of them talking and how beautifully they have shown Abhimanyu feeling Akshara's presence, have an inkling that Akshara has a hand in arranging the birthday party, the emotions of everyone was written on point. Starting from Neil jumpiness for his Bro birthday, Akshara positive hopes and wishes, Abhimanyu's craving for Akshara to share his happiness with her, to Manjiri low self confidence, coming over it and singing it for her son, to Harsh praising both Neil and Manjiri for their efforts but also having work as his priority and who does not enjoy Aarohi getting ignored? Anand genuine happiness not only with Abhi celebration but also when Manjiri singing, Mahima was like... When this will get over? Why? Because she was not the one who is going to get praised and when Manjiri sang, one could clearly feel her fear of loosing control and the power. Also, Harsh disappointment with Abhi not feeding him cake with his hand. And how could we forget how beautifully Akshara's plight and helplessness was shown. Of how much she pain she is ready to take for others but when it will come to take credits, appreciation or steps for her happiness, she will hidden. And all of this could not have happened without a good written script. So Uttkarsh Naithani sir, you deserve the applause.
Coming to execution, it was simple and pleasing to the eye. No extra light and edited scenes. And the way they recorded everyone reactions, captured those children screen presence, of course the cute dance which was emotional too. Really, done a good job. I actually loved how everyone and everything was covered. And one could read the nuances. I mean could not point one thing that did not brought a smile on my face ( smile can be of anytime 😉)
But yes, the dance sequence and how every child surrounded Abhi and him twirling them is so adorable. And every scene that followed after Manjiri came on stage have my heart.
Now to the actors. I am little biased towards Harshad and I guess, everyone knows this on the forum 😆 so have always praised his acting but today, every single actor shone and I am glad Goenkas specially Akhilesh was not shown. Sorry but the actor is too OTT for me and yes, it's because of the lousy writing too but actors and actresses in ITV should know they have to rise above the script. So, yeah, today it belongs to every single actor acted.
Let's start with Neil: The happiness and jumpiness he showcased through Neil for his bro birthday, it seems so natural and real. The smiles, happiness and also guilt for asking Akshara to dance, the fear and helplessness he felt for not telling his brother that it's Akshara who arranged it for him, of how will his brother take the news of Akshara doing this for him even when he know that his brother know (kind of or hopes) it to be Akshara.
Parth Priyadarshan, you shone sir. Have loved your performance in previous episodes too and you are really one of the best.
Ami Trivedi as Manjiri: Ma'am, first of all take all the love because the way your portrayed unconditional love of a mother is just so so wholesome. The tears, the helplessness, low self confidence overcoming it, singing, being happy, I don't know how to say but the expression you gave when Abhi did not feed his father was just so on point.
From starting to now, the way you portrayed Manjiri plight of a wife to be a mother and best friend of Abhimanyu... None can take away the appreciation that comes your way. Thank you for being our Manjiri because no one could have done justice and bring the nuances the character requires.
Vinay Jain as Dr. Harshvardhan Birla: To be very honest sir, I feel too small to praise you. Because even though Harsh is not really a good husband but the way you show his love for his son is all love. Even with a character like Harsh, we people want to see more, his story, the couple story and this would not have been possible if some other actor was portraying Dr. Harshvardhan Birla. We could not have been connected and felt sad for him .... Even if it's a moment and that's what your acting power is.
Dr. Anand and Dr. Mahima Birla: Aashish Nayyar sir and Pragati Mehra Ma'am, not much scenes were there of you today but when you were shown on screens, we could not help but notice your guys reactions and see applaud the nuances you brings. It's not easy to hold screen presence in matter of seconds but you guys do it wonderfully.
Neeraj Goswami as Dr Parth Birla and Niharika as Nishtha: You wonderfully showcased the happiness you felt for your Chachi and when you finally saw your heartbroken brother smile to his heart content. One could just smile looking at you guys.
Karishma Sawant as Aarohi: She tbh does not have much scenes today but her talk with Harsh, happiness seeing Abhi happy, some talk with herself ... She have wonderfully portrayed it. Even in yesterday episode, you were wonderful. And not to forget, you are such a beauty.
Now coming to my favourites. The show stealers:
Pranali Rathod as Akshara: I think a lot of people have told you how you looks like a doll... And today episode once again proved it. Gosh, you are such beautiful and your acting skills is like cherry on the top.
From being happy in Abhimanyu happiness to crying to be not able to give him his real happiness to feel helplessness for a lot of things and those mixed emotions were wonderfully portrayed by you. The way you admired both Manjiri and Abhimanyu bond, that smile, the nazar utaarna.... Haaye. Words are just short. But seriously, hats off.
Harshad Chopda as Abhimanyu: I just don't know where to start and where to end. You were that wonderful. Showing how you were not intrested to be genuinely happy as those little angels danced for you to showing how you crave for Akshara presence, happy with dancing and twirling the children to your eyes searching for your Akshu... To be happy hearing your mother sing to the sadness remembering Akshara to hiding the pain her absence cause to you and then those 440 watt ka smile as you decides to enjoy your mother performance, appreciating her, from hoping to hear Akshara name from Neil as the one who helped him to desperately searching for Her. There was not even one scene where you did not shine. You literally stole the show with your excellent performance and adorable and genuine smiles and efforts.
Just a question, ye teen teen baccho ko utha kar kaise ghuma liya? Kaise?
Seriously, take a bow Harshad Chopda. You really deserve all the appreciation you gets and hopefully, you win all the awards this year.
Makers I really hope, you guys show AbhiRa progress through themselves not through a third angle. And show them talking or letting it out all tomorrow.
