I agree with you...if he was so concerned about his sister,he could have left with her just like Naitik left with Naira..this shows why parents are needed and no one can replace them..

If anyone we loved was in a toxic relationship, an abusive relationship. We wouldn’t want them to stay there and keep getting hurt would we? I think that’s what Kairav is doing for Akshu.

He knows Akshu won’t leave unless someone asks, but the problem is, no one is noticing Akshu’s pain or sacrifice in that house other than Kairav and he’s just trying to get her away from that.

Now you might think why change her numbe and all, but he just wants her to forget the painful past and start afresh. Also this gives the makers an opportunity for Abhira to call each other, cause given current situations, even if Akshu calls Abhi he won’t pick up, so a new number is the only way for him to answer the call. That’s what I think regarding the new number anyway.

But seriously with people who go through abuse and domestic violence and toxic relationship etc… it’s hard for them to get out that situation themselves, most of the time they need an external force, support or push to get out. Some don’t even realize how toxic and deteriorating that relationship is. They think either it’s normal, that it’s ok, and in some cases that they even deserve it and etc…

Akshu’s been treated horribly by Arohi all her life to a point where Akshu’s been guilt tripping for so long that she believes it and thinks she deserves it. The only way to get Akshu out of her sacrificing mode is to send her away from Arohi.

Everyone might think why not send Arohi away, but remember she’s cunning and she’ll come back to Akshu with the blame game again and have the entire family turn against her.

Kinda late to the party but I started watching YRKKH when my mother-Aunty would watch S1 (Akshara's story). I have seen the large parts of Kaira but couldn't sit through Sirat & Karthik's story so skipped it (apart from catching the clips on Instagram).

Now that story time is over, I am not surprised with what Kairav did. Remember Manish implied he go away and he went to boarding school when Karthik was in depression/or whatever it is he was going through and Manish wanted to "HELP" him. He's following his footsteps to the T...of course it is their upbringing.

What I don't understand is - why is Akshara accepting the treatment? Doesn't she have a say? Also, why does she feel obligated? She's the OG couple's love child isn't it? RS really butchers shows with his illogical reasoning and calling it a cult show :( :(

Ik understand your point of view. But Kairav is wrong here, because the solution to toxic relationships isn't to leave the family and go. It's more like sit and communicate. That is what big brothers are supposed to do. Not send the sister away because you cannot deal with it.

Toxic relationships are dealt by telling the people that they are toxic. Like Kairav could have just made both the sisters understood to stop messing around in each other's lives or specifically tell Akshara that Arohi is toxic for her. He just sends her away saying don't ask anything and go.

Could not agree more with everyone. I’ve been venting about this since yesterday. There is no forgiveness for Kairav for this and I hope he doesn’t forgive himself. Ever.

It was so sad the way Akshu openly acknowledged that this was his bhai dhooj gift to Arohi.
And I thought it was extra cruel how Kairav said go like you went before. But it’s not like she went before voluntarily. They must have told her to leave last time as well!
From everything I’ve heard of the Begali original, it’s not like Arohi is going to get her just punishment or that the Goenkas are going to learn from their mistakes …….

Yes she may be cunning and come back….. but has anyone even tried? Doesn’t look like anyone is even trying to solve this form the Arohi side. They are all in Arohi sympathy mode!
