I feel he was always craving for love and these sherlin little care made him to think that he is in love .not sherlin care actully jo hamari bahurani preetaji ki sab bat mein ghusne ki aadat hai uski wajah se he made to feel that he is in love.

Agree. He was definitely developing a soft corner for her more after her miscarriage. They were fighting less and she also seemed to be settled in the family and had made her peace with Preeta. He saw her with Pihu and how most of the family seemed to love her back.

Rishabh just wanted to settle down abd not be so lonely. He felt they could have a good life together.

In an alternate universe minus Prithvi they definitely would have been great together.

Plus Preeta overhyped Sherlyn reciprocating his feelings and that sealed the deal for him. His Preetaji can never be wrong🤦🏻‍♀️

people develop a sense of attachment if you practically live with someone and given how everyone pushed him towards sherlyn and kept reiterating that she loves him he definately had some attachment wouldn't call it love though

honestly they could have shown rishlyn real well and sherlyn having her redemption arc but I guess redemption tracks are not the makers forte
