Star one had many classy shows like Pyaar ki yeh ek kahaani, Dil mil gaaye to name a few.

Why are tv producers not into making such type of shows?.

Nowadays all the shows are so overdramatic.

I feel like there are always trends that ITV follows. Old days it was saas-bahu drama, dopplegangers, resurrections, time lapses. Then for a while there was the angry young man & the innocent docile female trope. Now it's EMA/3rdAngle/LoveTriangle/Square.

There never seems to be enough variety in content on ITV across the board at any one time. It has gotten so much worse now than ever before.

Now toh I cant even watch other shows because Saishi have raised the bar so high that I cannot enjoy any other actor/actress and I cannot drool over their chemistry.

Sony had few simple and decent shows 2-3 years before.

Reporters(only initial episodes), Yeh pyaar nahi toh kya hai, Itna karo na mujhe pyaar(overdramatic but good, ekta's prod), Ek duje ke vaaste(I didnt like leads but it was nice). There are many more which aired on Sony. Sony tv ke shows thode alag hote the.

But now woh bhi nahi.

Ha and that one starring Kritika Kamra- Kuch tob log kahenge. Accha tha.

Saishi are different. They never craved for public and media attention. Their performances spoke for them. Baaki actors ka ulta hai.
