The WU made it clear this whole episode was just one big contrivance. I swear if the writers don't wrap up this track soon, I'm going to run out of excuses to make for Adi. Maybe that's what the writers want - keep Adi consistently in the darker spectrum of grey just to make him a wild card to be used to drag such pathetic tracks ahead. What a disservice this is to his character and the evolution of Adi so far. 😡
The episode I'm not going to get into because there's nothing positive to say. I know we really shouldn't judge by the precap, so I want to reserve my comments until tomorrow. Two things:
1. Imlie is standing beside SK while the family rushes in to the scene after the gunshot. How can MC point fingers at SK then? Everybody knows Imlie would never stand by and allow SK to attack MC in front of her. Or is that the point - Adi believing Imlie will try to let her dadda off the hook again? If the writers really are going to this extent, I want to at least see this play out convincingly. Or is that too much to expect now?
2. Some viewers are outraged by all of this, but some have just got to the point where they're really indifferent to what happens next. I'm one of the latter. How sad is this?! In pursuing and dragging this track way beyond the point of our tolerance, the makers have made us so desensitized to the story itself. There should be some serious introspection on the makers' part over what they're trying to accomplish here. 👎🏼 Of course, show ups and downs in adilie's lives, that's only realistic and part of the early days' charm, but to draw it out to the extent where we are dreading even reading WUs and debating over whether on not to watch an episode is utterly foolish and detrimental to their viewership. The makers may not be tired of this plot, but we definitely are.
Bottom line is, considering SK confesses tomorrow, nothing will stop the police from arresting him. If this is not an elaborate plan and Imlie doesn't leave after this, this is going to be on her. She has to fiercely fight for herself now. If that means extricating herself from this toxic, complicated situation, even temporarily, so be it. She doesn't need to prove a thing to anyone who is not inclined to really listen to her.
That being said, I do hope this is a plan. We really need a climax to this track now.
They are stretching like bubble gum … so the reveal of realisation has to be big.. somehow just a phone recording seems so phuski unless like u say they only realise after imlie leaves and rupi realise it much later. Honestly there is no more chance if dragging this … when is the one year anniversary of imlie? Soon? Maybe on that day..? Till then imlie one place and AdI the other
