What arohi needs to understand is that naira , aksharas mother was her fathers first love and wife.Sirat became karthiks wife only due to her facial similarity to naira. That akshara is the elder daughter of goenka house.
Don't you see that it is this kind of false thinking that is the reason for aarohi behaving as she does? It's probably such vibes that she has felt from Manish and whenever naira was talked about she would have been placed above sirat.. Bahot saare khisse thei honge kartik aur naira ke jo family sab baat karti thi. Sirat ke barey mein to bahut kam hi tha hoga. That is at the base of this conflict, don't you see?
By the way, kartik did not marry sirat because she looked like naira. He loved her and she loved him and his kids too. Please don't insult kartik by saying that. And is being an elder child give one more rights than younger siblings?
If being elder doesn't give more rights to one, then why only more responsibility?
Even in yrhpk and even her,Mishti and Akshara are always asked to compromise and bear every nonsense that the younger one throws.Even Sirat in the childhood told Akshara to understand and forgive Aarohi.Could'nt she tell the same thing to Aarohi?
And talking about rights, forget more rights,Aarohi is not even ready to give Akshu the basic right that Akshu has on the house and family, being Karthik's first wife's daughter, and it's a fact. And nobody and talked about Naira after the generation leap and even if they did, fact is a fact and it cannot be changed.
Even i agree to the fact that Aarohi is really toxic ..the way she emphasizes and exaggerates her educational qualifications is damn annoying..like all she does is I am number 1 , I'm this , I'm that ...without considering other people's feelings..even her one sided love for Abhimanyu is going to be toxic and unbearable in future ..like she is only after Abhimanyu because he is handsome, a topper in medical history and MOST importantly one marks ahead of her...there is not going to be any genuine feelings from her side even for Abhimanyu...she is only going to be jealous and obsessed with the fact that a handsome and successful doctor is in love with her sister and not her. Even in today's promo the way she tries to demean and belittle akshu in front of Abhimanyu by calling her 'simple' is pathetic...no educated person does that.

So what you mean is Goneka's didn't have any right to talk about their late DIL. They didn't compare them in anyway. Manish indeed talk was wrong but he told the fact only bad thing Aarohi heard it. If Sirat's mother did any good deed he would have praised that too but was their any.
Ok being elder sibling doesn't give any rights then does being the younger sibling give more rights to ask the elder to get out of her own house. As an elder she has to bear all insults, compromises and the younger wouldn't even compromise for a 0.1%.
What complex character 😆 Let's not give too much credit to ITV creatives. Aarohi is just a simple black and white character. If Akshara is the usual mahaan itv FL, then Aarohi is usual itv vamp.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to justify aarohi's behaviour. Yes Goenkas have every right to talk about their DIL and remember and celebrate her memory. I am only saying that aarohi's temperament being what it is, these things probably fed her insecurities which is causing her to react this way.And ofcourse akshu should not put up with this kind of behaviour, the reason she does is also rooted in their shared trauma. Ideally, those who are responsible for the children's upbringing should have understood their problems and addressed those and tried to resolve the conflict, perhaps take help from professional counsellors early on. But, unfortunately, that anger and guilt and insecurity was all ignored and allowed to fester and grow till now we have voila! Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai, the next generation 😛.
And I guess we are doing this because it's painful to see such conflict in the Goenka parivar, between kartik's own children. And because the actress playing aarohi seems to compel us to look below the surface.
Also Akshu has every right over the family. So does aarohi. One does not have more right than the other. Akshu has no business lying down and taking all tbe crap aarohi dishes out. In fact, I think if she stood up and told aarohi to shut up and back off, aarohi would learn to respect her and tone down her aggressiveness.
As for elders having more rights because they have more responsibility, this is a matter of individual opinion. Personally, I think rights and responsibilities dono eksaan hona chahiye.

You're probably right. This is ITV.. Why are we breaking our heads over their creations like it was some literary classic. I guess we just hope that our Indian shows would grow up! 🤢

ITV is back at it again, love triangle is teh trend of the year and here is a new one... between sisters... AGAIN!Anyway, it is quite clear the Akshara is meant to be the new FL and abhira is the new couple while Aarohi will be villainous, venomous sister.
Aarohi:
Aarohi has faced clear childhood trauma, she saw her mother running after Akshara and then dying because of it in front of her eyes. At a such a young and tender age it is an extremely traumatic experience. The immediate resentment towards her sister is a natural response. It is often misplaced anger and guilt.
In most cases this decreases over the years but the show in the first episode itself made it quite apparent that her wound is still quit raw. As a result Aarohi has resolved to being academically inclined. She is an emotionally independent and ambitious woman who knows what she wants and works hard for it. She is competitive and clear headed.
Her bitterness towards her sister is quite apparent (thankfully saves her from becoming two faced) but is also hurtful and maybe even excessive. This flaw makes her human and emotionally vulnerable.
So we have an educated, independent, strong woman.
Akshara:
Akshara has the qualities of a typical FL. She is sweet and innocent. Has no apparent ambition but is clear headed. She likes her music and she wants to work for an NGO. However, she is also craving for her sisters love and approval. She also in like two episodes has let her self respect be crushed by her sister and yet continues to cling on to her. Get the hint and live your own life! she clearly doesn't have a. backbone.
The panic attack makes her vulnerable and in the need of protection, but good job for showing mental health is a very real thing.
The actress also comes across as a bit annoying :(
My question now is why is the strong woman always the villain? can men not love strong woman? imo aarohi would have made a better FL, as a character and the actress too is doing a great job.
So you have already decided who is strong woman 😆 What is defination of strong woman dear ? A woman who is more masculine in nature is not necessary strong. A woman who is more feminine in nature is not necessary weak. We just put women in judgement. Most of the times masculine gets attracted to feminine that's how hero falls for akshara.
But I understand ur question. Why is always female characters who are educated villian ? I think the reason behind this is why is main female lead always poor or struggling to complete basic education. I think the reason is because I think audience connect with such characters. The female lead have some background to feel sympathy for them. They can't show main female lead as negative toh automatically the next person supporting lead becomes villian.
