Saif & Rani | Hum Tum Nostalgia!

With the Bunty & Babli promos out, I cannot stop fawning over one of my absolute favorite pairs in B-town Saif & Rani! ❤️❤️

I missed them so so much together onscreen. Hum Tum, Tara Rum Pum, Thoda pyaar thoda magic & now B&B2

I was revisiting some of their Hum Tum classics! Nobody could replace Karan & Riya.. I wish Saif & Rani got paired more often.

This scene where Riya was low-key getting attached to him, talks to him like she were his GF & he says, you remember so much about me! And she says she might 'miss' him☺️

I watched and rewatched that scene like 1000 times already.

At one point Saif was doing so well with back to back successful movies with such lovable roles like Hum-Tum, Parineeta, Salaam Namaste etc. I think him being a good actor will help him reinvent himself at every turn and keep him relevant for a long long time.

She's so delicate, so tender and a girl who missed the companionship of a Life Partner. This scene was beautifully shot, where Karan brings that desire out of Riya! Feels like you want to protect Riya! Give her a hug so tight.

YRF marketing machine was at its peak then. I still remember the cartoons they had created for HumTum.

I went with friends to theater to actually watch the Dhoom trailer that was attached to the start🤣, but yes, ended up enjoying the movie too. Apanka paisa waise Dhoom trailer mein hich vasool ho gayela tha. 😉

Growing up in that era, with those movies as well as Kal Ho Naa Ho, Saif seemed as much one of the ruling Khans of the industry as Shahrukh was. Especially at a time when Aamir had taken a sabbatical and Salman's record was still inconsistent. My only regret is there wasn't one movie that featured SRK, Rani, Preity, and Saif ALL together (cameos notwithstanding).

This scene actually won Best Scene of the Year at the Filmfare Awards and deservingly so!

I just love this scene. Its one of my fav romantic scenes ❤️
