Liyah have you noticed those few people who are literally saying this on all threads. I couldn't watch Monday Tuesday episodes maine nai dekha. It took me time to come to terms with what they were showing and why. It was triggering me as well but I know where we are heading and why that's important. Now I can watch the show in peace.
Ren, after I stalked you last time, I haven’t stepped into the MF at all. Criticism ke naam pe bohot zyaada negativity hain. I feel jitna negativity yahaan pe hai, actual show mein utna nahi hain. I’m honestly at this point okay with the track. Jo hai dekha jaayega. Definitely it has to reach or climb the crescendo for it to all to come crashing down. Maybe I might not enjoy all the scenes. Toh tik hain na, I won’t watch those particular ones, ya I’ll wait it out for the next scene. I don’t want them to wrap it up like how they did Mandaar’s track. Mandaar’s track was irritating but let them show what they want to show. Stalker 🤠, yeah main forum is too toxic, they should stop watching agar digest nai ho raha. I'm somehow hanging in there and willing to give this track a chance. Also we have fria, ru, sharada, u and Anjali watching with an unbiased view so it helps to have company. This track is different and if executed well can do great for the show in terms of trps let's see.
My only contention with SS and this team is that they go to extremes to showcase certain things ki as if aise explicitly nahi dikhaayenge toh audience ko samajh mein nahi aayega. I agree, subtle hona inhone kabhi seekha hi nahi. Sirf trigger karne wali cheezein they can show
Every track is still so much better than any other show that I’ve watched. If it was any other show, 100 separations and unnecessary misunderstandings would have taken place and we would be crying about that. At least if they are fighting here, then it’s for actual reasons and not made up causes or illusions. And I’m really grateful that we don’t have the saas bahu drama here. Mhrw is very diff to your standard itv shows and that's why I'm around as well.
See I don’t appreciate arrogance or meanness from anybody and I can never tolerate it. But think of what SS said. A show to survive on ITV needs drama esp such competitive channels like SP & Rang. Romance how much ever we like to see will not keep the show on ITV. I honestly cannot point out any show currently that is surviving on almost realistic potrayal and garnering good TRP. I have watched multiple shows of this guy, his productions and have enjoyed them simply because they were all relatable ( I’m not saying that he doesn’t go overboard with certain scenes - that is a cross we have to bear) , but the other cross is that such portrayals don’t last long here so either we have to face early shut shop or a little dramatic tracks to keep the show on longer. Yes the bitter truth is they need trps and they are doing what they can to get that. A lot of people's jobs are at stake and it's a lot of responsibility. I hope they get the trp they wish to achieve.
As we said, this is for a different audience but still who is watching tv at 5:30 or 6:30, the same people who will be watching at 7 or 8 or 9. So this doesn’t appeal to them and trp doesn’t come. The superb leads and acting and story doesn’t hold it on there because TRP doesn’t come.
Now if the choice it to take it to OTT, this might have a better reach and we might also get GP like stiff here 😎🔥. Or else to stop and bring it back in seasons which I’m not sure SP permits or the production is interested. We can’t question that. It’ll depend also on the popularity, whether to bring it back. Ott doesn't seem possible, we need to be happy with what we got. Hopefully the slot works wonders for our show and the threat of axing is no longer there. It's sad that we had 3 slots for the new show but our show had to bear the brunt despite faring better number wise.
You can't view a show in isolation by a scene. You need to take into account the overall character the growth etc. Ek episode se you can't cancel Raghav when he's not at fault for the ultimate deed.This is not going to be understood. Jinko samajhna tha would already have understood bohot pehle or who can’t accept it would have made peace with it by now like all of us on this CC. Yes I'm hoping for people to either stop watching or accept what we are shown with a pinch of salt. Constant critisizing se kuch nai hota.
If I was so triggered I would have stopped watching. I went to watch the UD confrontation episodes because it was supposed to be good but what message are they showing now trying to white wash F. I loved silsila for being so realistic in this sense. It was shown well despite all the hate it garnered. ITV wasn't ready for a show like that at that time but UD is reaching new lows. I don't remember any Ekta show where a man deliberately cheating on his wife was whitewashed???
Both these shows had deliberate act of cheating and consistent as well. I think I felt really bad when Mauli and Kunal didn’t work out because I loved them both and their potrayal of marriage. She was quite forthcoming. Actually I couldn’t understand why Kunal betrayed Mauli or was attracted to Nandini 🤷🏻♀️. But that’s how the story went. Loved Aditi’s acting in the confrontation scene!!! But that separation made sense. And whatever it was that happened, though sad was good for the story.
UD, I don’t know what they are intending. A little bit of SS is their in the spirit of their writers as well. They have shown F too far gone and now to whitewash is going to be difficult but those who want them together may accept, I don’t know.
Drunken mistakes on EK have been forgiven but I don’t think any deliberate act has been whitewashed so far.
The whole difference here is deliberate or not! Yeah you'd never see whitewash of a character in EK show. She always called a spade a spade. In Silsila the wife was equal to her husband or even better in terms of qualifications and money, he was kind of feeling a lack in those context. He wanted someone to whom he'd feel superior - he wanted to be a knight in shining armour. He fell for Nandini's looks and her becharapan. See it happens in real life, people willingly cheat and bear the consequences. They didn't white wash these characters. They had to stand and witness how they hurt the person they loved so dearly. They didn't move in their stand. Kunal loved the other woman nandini and got divorced. Later when nandini died and he wanted to return to mauli she married her friend but never took Kunal back (I've read the story not watched the show so much).
I think we have discussed this before, the eye lock scene was the turning point for most viewers. For me it was just an awkward eye lock. Nothing more than that. But for many, it was different. So the story changed for them. Raghav Pallavi changed at that point. For me it didn’t. So I don’t question anything there. I won’t let Raghav have a free pass because he made a mistake of drinking with her and putting himself in a vulnerable position. He should have been careful. But that won’t make me question his intentions.

This is my understanding of the track and the show. I don’t know if it is agreeable to many. Forgive me if I have offended someone.
Yeah I was kind of ok about the eyelock. See you can't read so much into the scenes if the makers aren't intending to be that way. Raghav was very clear in his stand re Pallavi. He loves only Pallavi. He made an error in judgement in respect to Esha and he needs to suffer the consequences of his actions.
