She thinks she's very clever in trying to drown him in guilt but Adi ki bhi hard lines hain that he will never cross.....he will do the politeness of asking her what she wants like you ask a guest but he never guarantees that he will give her what she wants.....aajkal extra disgusted muh banata hai at her especially when she talks crap like "Main divorcee bhi nahin hoon fully" as if she thinks telling him that will make him consider her his wife.....lol.....and sooner or later he finds a way to wiggle away from her guilt tripping and go find Imlie. As I've said before also, she's under some delusion that she still has Adi under her thumb in "gehri dosti" mode......situation has shifted away from there and now Adi notably almost constantly has an expression of distaste on his face even while doing token convos with M.....yeh baat bhi I do feel is always in the back of Adi's mind that Imlie is upset with him regarding M so he holds back all the more than he did before also from granting these token "gestures" to M.....it will all come to a head at some point but for now they are pretty consistent in showing Adi's expressions of distaste towards M these days.....he doesn't even do a polite smile at her anymore.....lol....as it is woh jab bhi muh kholti hai koi ghatiya baat bolne ko hi kholti hai which always leaves Adi irritated.....lol
