The movie builds a lot alot of suspense in the first half like some grand mystery is gonna be revealed which would blow your mind.
But the second half and the climax of the movie just couldn't live up to those grand expectations. More than Emraan Hashmi's character I was interested in the characters living in the mansion.
What's their backstory? Why they do what they do? But they never go beyond the implication that these people are bored of their retired life and have the urge to serve some justice.
The reveal that they weren't going to kill Emraan's character instead they recorded the whole thing surprised me, but then what happened to the politician they mentioned? Was he also handed to the law by them? Then it would've definitely made it to the newspapers and these guys would've gotten famous.
Amitabh Bachchan's monologue is too long and had no place in a movie like this. It felt like I was watching a deleted scene of Pink. Not to forget it felt outdated because the verdict has been declared in Nirbhaya case so it was pointless to mention it.
Even if the movie hadn't got delayed because of Covid, it still would've felt outdated because all the culprits were punished before the movie was supposed to come out last year.
