That's the thing....I know we won't get it so I accept that if I want it then I have to go elsewhere and that's exactly what I have done.

Also the SaiRat scenes could be SO MUCH BETTER but they aren't and that bugs me.

There is a reason even IPL couldn't touch the number 1 show and it won't. For a show to get a 4.2 TRP it cannot just be the lower middle class watching it. A large section of the population has to watch it. The story of the show alongside the family drama makes people want to watch it. Bhavna Vyas is a fabulous writer. If she can run YRKKH for 12 years without the TRPs dropping below 2 and get Anupama to number 1 then that must be something. Whatever Vanks is doing is just copying and thats not really exciting. Rono and Virat were never the same and yet he didn't understand that. Why? Virat is his character.

Sandip Sickand who runs Mehndi changed Raghav to suit the Hindi audience despite being the producer of the Telugu show that Mehndi is based on. It was so easy for him to just copy paste. Yet he didn't.

So why can't Vanks do it? People loved his previous jodis (I only liked ShivIka; ArShi were not for me but there isn't a need to get into why here, the point is that there were super popular) and that is why I feel that was a Gul show through and through.

What Gaurav (Anuj) and Rupali (Anupama) do is the cherry on top. What Vanraj and Kavya do is their thing but they also do it for fun ot their fans, who knows. Similarly what Rao&Shivu do is also the cherry on top. The point is their characters RaghaVi's shaadi was also a deal but Pallavi did not harp on and on and never ending on to the point of me being tired. She saw the good things in Raghav and got to a point where she realised he was the one for her. He told her ONCE "mat jaao main nahin reh paunga...mat jao main tunhare bina nahin rehna chahta....mat jao..." and then Pallavi realised a lot of things and the next time it was she who said that she wouldn't go anywhere because "yeh ghar bhi.mera hai aur pati bhi", it took just ONE time for Raghav to say he couldn't stay without her. She didn't say yeh shaadi ek deal hai.

Sorry but I m tired. I m tired of the stretching. I am tired of the not understanding Veeru. I m tired of the random change of heart without a back story e.g. how did kaku suddenly change and most of all I am tired of expectations to think about things from only 1 POV aka Sai's at all times.

I dont think I can be for SaiRat because I cannot be for a person who drove a calm, composed guy to the bitterness, frustration to the extent that she did and then expect that she is the one for him. I also understand that a marriage can't be broken so easily so the fault is in the writing because the characterisations could be tweaked but nooooooo.

I hope I am making sense.

The disconnect is very evident . Kaku’s change of heart was sudden just like how it felt during Maa kumate dialogue for Devi . They could have taken it slow like Kaku feeling bad for Sai and worried for her health but her keeping vrath for Sai despite her inability to walk long looks forced . Earlier I suspected Kaku’s intention during Devi track but now I know that’s how ghum white washes characters 😆

They could have given her a monologue where she wants to keep Virat safe at any cost and like Devi said it’s possible only when Sairat are together . Just for Virat’s safety she is accepting Sai and slowly they could have shown her warming upto Sai . Kaku is shown believing in all this so it would have made sense but 180 turn is little dramatic but due to actress it’s convincible.

They really can't do whitewash good.

The only thing I don't agree with is that even though the actress Playing Bhavani is good but I still don't find it convincing.

Another thing: nobody would agree with me on this but Patralekha's character seems to be written best among all. She's not good but the character seems to have an identity of her own. She's not the typical third woman like in other shows. Sometimes Aishwarya acts terribly but other times, she's wonderful. She's not a typical vamp who smirks with villainous background music and it becomes obvious she's a vamp. She's like any other human who pretends to be good but actually harbours evil intentions and actually thinks he/she is the victim. Main pata nahi ye sab is post mein kyun likh rahi hu😆

Much awaited precap ..May be it is a dream. Still such a relief to hear Sai’s voice.

The emotional quotient these two have between themselves,no other ITV pair could boast of and hence they are Sairat for a reason.

The Sairat scenes since yesterday are droolworthy for most of the fandom ..but naysayers still crib on something or the other. Never mind.

This scene is a statement by itself for the understanding Neilsha have to enact Sairat ..the ultimate couple.

Seeing the influence Sai has on Mohit , I feel somewhere it would have helped if Sai had advised Mohit keeping Karishma in mind . The main issue between Mohit and Karishma is due to Mohit’s lack of courage to stand up for his wife and his inability to provide her basic necessities. In few instances Virat has led Sai down but it’s mostly because of their ego and fights but never because of family’s interference .

Agree. Sai stood by Mohit but never tried to put some sense in him. I guess this is the reason why Karishma has kept her distance from her. On the other hand Sai has Virat's support and he provides her basic necessasities but Karishma doesn't get that too.

Initially I felt the same way too. Maybe because we have always seen her badmouthing Sai. I felt Devyani's words about SaiRat facing a mishap each time they get seperated opened her eyes. Or maybe it can be that it is the hard work of Kishori Shahane that it looks so convincing.

Loved your analysis. Yes, I too get tired of the stretching and only understanding from Sai's point of view and not giving a chance to Virat for any explanation but can't stop myself from watching the show. I've got addicted. I will not comment on other shows since I don't watch regularly. I just Vankar changes the story from here on. IPL will end on Friday but will be followed by T20 World cup. Let's see what's in store for Ghum.
