White Washing Fateh? - Page 2

i see this kind of post a lot but i totally disagree that they're trying to whitewash him. the bar here is literally- poor fateh, he thought his ibaadati ishq would only accuse poor gippy of rape! he didn't even imagine she would try to ruin his family's izzat, sabotage his sister, lie to him and murder his father! bechara! totally fooled by the mastermind. in fact he even doesn't remember that they are saving money for kannedda. the mastermind jasso has made him forget his literal kannedda jake illegal in 6 months plan! boo hoo! poor fateh!

they're not even trying to whitewash him. fateh has become a side character jo kabhi kabhi dikhta hain to insert rom fatejo flashback to keep fans calm. thats the sign of him being sorry- remembering his raunch times (even the ones in tejo's fantasy). they're just hoping ppl will get distracted enough by the flashbacks to forget what he did.

New male lead means.. bring new family + their set of evil and good people + new set design + and disposing of either virk or sandhu family.(simple.. ITV can have only 2 joint families at a time)

So on a technical Point of view... I did not think a new male lead would come so soon..

Only if the TRP dropped consistently they would even think of replacing the main lead.

But whitewashing Fateh seems a bit rushed.. I mean he could have stayed away from Virk house... dealt with Jasmin and her tantrums..You know the usual.. But this show has everything almost too rushed.. first marriage of Tejo.. then jasmine marriage.. then jas jealousy.. fateh rebound.. affair.. confrontation.. etc..

Lets just hope TRP reduce considerably.. so that they can bring the new lead

even if they will show another ML or side character... they will show he is related to virks... i. e..hw would be.. maachi's son or some other relative.... so they can use same set and family (actors)...

That's reason most of the itv shows...do not let FL move out... as they can use same set and group of people as family... and viewers have to face torture...with. all that mahaan..shxx....

IMHO - this is the reason top trp show did not have famous actor as second ML ... as far I read... first ML was acting up (showing tantrums ).. I can sense insecurity.... if makers have top notch actor as second ML it may overshadow main ML...... there will be competition in popularity...

- that's is reason.... they never show second ML and FL episode... without constant interruption/screen space of first ML & his ott family...... even if second ML is loved more than first ML...

- makers should have added clause(s) in contract... for not allowing leads... influencing any future creative/directorial decisions... & same for supporting cast too...

Just show Fateh ka Judwa bhai who was kidnapped by one nurse(add one character) at birth and now is back.. Fateh dies and in his funeral.. that dude walks in. Man I should have been the writer. Families, set and cast stay the same but one character is added which isn't a big deal.

Prefer they give him a proper redemption with a track that span over months.

But they haven't shown any consistency in Fateh imo. Like anything. Family ko chhoda, Jasmine ko chhoda, Tejo ko chhoda. No amount of redemption can erase all that bs imo. I would like if everyone just went their own way tbvh.

There's the Pakistani drama called Khaani. The male lead doesn't end up with the female lead despite loving her obsessively. He remains alone on his path of redemption.

Because there is always the what if and lack of trust. What if he cheats again?

There can't be any redemption for Fateh. Nothing and I mean nothing he does will makeup for what he did. That guy is the the disgusting, spineless pig.

Yeah Virk household everyone treats Tejo according to their own convenience. Sab acha chal rha hai toh she is the queen. The first instance something goes wrong....treat her like shit.

True.

Also, with Khaani, I don't know how anyone can root for this couple, after all, the male lead killed the femal lead brother for no reason, because of hurt ego. What was shocking, because of how good looking the ML was, people was saying forgive him, wth.

Realistically, Tejo should have left and divorced Fateh. Even if they change Fateh, its too late, doesn't change his behaviour and what he did. How do you trust the person you loved who cheated on you with the sibling. But from the way the show is going, they are showing Fateh getting annoyed with Jasmin, feeling greatful to Tejo so it has begun.
