I agree with you both . Some times I feel is this attitude of breaking marriage for every small thing limited to reel characters . I feel the same people won’t react this way in real life . I am referring to all the ITV audiences who think this way and it’s not limited to this serial . I have spent 25 years with my husband and believe me it wasn't a cake walk. He too is hot tempered, stubborn and an angry young man. I too was 18 when I got married and just like Sai I was an only child. I too had my mother in law's support but she wouldn't support me blindly like Ashwini. But, she used to help me understand my husband and his nature. I'm a Sri Lankan so my parents were in Sri Lanka and I'm in India. But, gradually I learnt how to handle him . He too is possessive but still it never occurred to me to get divorce from him . I don't how people come up with such thoughts. They are making a mockery of a relationship like marriage.
A marraige or any other relation works from both sides. Uptil now it was only Virat who trying to make this marriage work. Now I hope Sai too will get equally involved in making it work.
Yes, it is a tight slap for those who wanted Sai to throw the divorce papers, remove the mangal sutr and the ring at Virat.
If Virat was truly abusive and toxic I too might have felt that both are never meant for each other. And, if he was then I don't think Sai would have been able to live with him even for a day.
I think compromises , adjustments and working on a relationship is viewed as weakness . I won’t expect any women to stay in an abusive marriage but the problem is every single arguments between couple is viewed as toxic , abusive behavior . In reality , in any relationship difference of opinion, ego battles and misunderstanding are common . People don’t give up because of these reasons because even if they in next relationship they will face the same issue . Sairat is facing the above issues and they are not in any abusive relationship that I expect a Sai to walk out without trying .
Virat is not abusive period . He has his shares of mistakes but he is not someone who will intentionally harm Sai in anyway . He doesn’t control her life and has given the respect Sai deserves . The mistakes he has made is out of misunderstanding, ego and in extreme emotional state . None of them were taken to hurt her . He has realized and repented . Similarly, Sai has her share of mistakes too . She has done similar mistakes as Virat and again it not to hurt Virat but out of immaturity , stubbornness and ego .
Up until anniversary track , Virat has given her the care , attention and importance in his life even if he called it as deal marriage. From the day he married her he was there for her at every stage and has silently supported her . They may have some misunderstandings but still he stood like a solid rock . Sai until anniversary track has never seen Virat’s indifference and he was always the one to make first move when they fought but in anniversary track he was hurt and his character was questioned because of which he decided to distance himself not just for himself but for Sai as well . Sai was not used to that and in this track we will see Sai realize this and enjoy the attention , care Virat generally showered on her . If Virat was abusive man like he is accused of then Sai would not be missing him in the first place . Sai would be looking for her new found brother and Jiju .
I saw some tweets on Twitter comparing with KD saying in KD the hand hold was better and here due to personal issues of actors they haven’t executed the scene well . I guess the SM social distancing experts reacted little early . In KD there was no hug , straw sharing but here we got some new scenes and morover I felt the braiding of hair will be better here compared to KD .
I am with you . Neil was really good in the hospital scenes . He reacted how people react in real life no one will go around howling , crying like there is no tomorrow. He brought out Virat’s emotion really well . The tiredness a man feels in such situations was done perfectly. Kudos to the actor . TBH I was so irritated with Pulkit and Shivani and Pakhi today. I was like why O why am I wasting my time here.
The only good thing was NB's acting. His expressions were so on point. I don't think an artist needs to howl or make a tamasha or shout or scream to express grief. Expressions matter...subtility matters. He was so good. Especially the last scene when Aai took him to Sai's room; when he didn't want to see her and she had to lift his face. When he saw her and he was holding himself from sobbing uncontrollably.
That is the sequence that had me today...not Pullu Tullu or Shivani or Pakhi. I just ignored them TBH.
Among the supporting cast , actors playing Pullu , Shivani and Samrat are very weak actors . I have started finding Mitali to be OTT as well . It was difficult to watch these actors with so much SS . They are good as long as they have limited Ss . Yamini gives the same expressions in almost all scenes ( the one pasted below ) and Yogi struggles in any intense scenes where he cannot smile . He is decent in light hearted scenes . Pulkit the actor never shined in any scenes before . I don’t think I have anything new to talk about Aish so I am skipping that . Somehow I cannot enjoy Mitali’s scenes these days . I feel they are inserting Devi unnecessarily these days

She is ok with fights and arguments but she got depressed on seeing Virat’s new side..
That is the reason she felt depressed and got upset.
Anyone who understood Sai will think the same. I wonder why Shivani failed to do so.

Agree . Sai’s realization is much needed without which the confession won’t be complete . Sai needs to realize Virat’s loyalty towards her and once she realizes she needs to apologize. Somewhere Sai took Virat for granted hence she behaved so rudely with him on the anniversary day and later she taunted Virat in the night .
