You mentioned the BJP in the quoted post, hence my response.

Defending and getting defensive are 2 diff things. The implication I took from your words was that I dissed the Indian public for not supporting SRK when I did nothing of the sort. Clearly, you didn't mean it that way. So I apologize.

With re: common man comment... yeah, it's already happening. But when a government agency is willing to go after someone with money and resources, the situation is about to get much worse. History says so.

Even in India, if you read the history of the Emergency Era, same thing happened. Government agencies went after prominent names. Tried to control the press. Eventually led to the custodial death of an engineering student for the crime of protesting. I'm sure Indira Gandhi wasn't least concerned by one engineering student to order his death. But the cops under her knew they'd get away with it. And they did.

And lastly, it’s been 48 hours and no drugs have been found on aryan, so not sure where this “drug addiction” taunt came from
