Such a beautiful piece. Unsure of whether there is any significance to this piece and reality... but me being me looks for deep meaning 😂 Hopefully ya'll are okay with a deeply KDice post

"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive."

Alice's Instagram post April 10th: "That said, I’m thankful to be working opposite someone who’s not only a brilliant performer, who’s deeply passionate about his work but also a beautiful human being who’s company I enjoy thoroughly. Like I said @kanwardhillon_ you are all hearts"

Like a moth attracted to a flame, Alice was attracted to the passion he pours in his own work. Kanwar's dream is to become a wonderful/versatile actor. His passion in his work is evidenced by the way he interacts with fans and how he watches himself on scree to improve himself. His brilliance and dreams captured her interest, making her realize that he's not someone she can ignore.

"It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain!"

Kanwar's journey with the award debacle was just one example of a dream being taken away from him. His struggles in the entertainment industry, having to give up on offers, having to lose offers because of internal politics. Life did not come to him easy. He was battered and bruised, and in pain, but all of those have made him stronger.

"I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, fade it, or fix it, I want to know if you can be with joy mind or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic or to remember the limitations of being human"

How can we forget the time Kanwar shared Alice's sorrow? Where he tried to uplift her mood while she was on set? How can we forget his appreciation post where he praised her for being able to film for the daahi handi sequence, where he was proud of her bravery? He's always been vocal about his support for her, and he has always been her "human" When he's made her laugh every time in the midst of shoots, filling her with so much happiness that she forgets time and place itself?

"It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul. I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore be trustworthy. I want to know if you can see the beauty even when it is not pretty everyday, and if you can source your life on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the moon."

A man's true worth can be determined by his actions during a time of extreme sorrow. It doesn't matter if he's been abandoned or criticized by many... can he pick himself and take the higher ground? In Kanwar's situation, he always took the higher ground. Praising his co-actors for their awards, ignoring the hate on social media that is directed his way. Continuing to be civil on sets, excelling at his own work. He's never betrayed himself for fame... every single follower (as said by him and Karan) has come through his hard work alone!

"It doesn't doesn't interest me where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after a night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children. It doesn't interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn't interest me where or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments."

Alice doesn't care about money, fame, or status. She doesn't care about follower counts or being decked up. She cares about someone standing by her, in her times of loneliness, supporting her when all others walk away. She cares about someone being brave enough to walk fire with her, even if it would hurt him in the end, because that to her is the ultimate sign of loyalty and love. She cares about someone who will come back to her, even in the middle of the night, because she is his family.

Don't forget, Alice's words, "Thank you for being my strength , my family , my safe space, my ONE MAN ARMY , my biggest cheerleader. You my love are a gem 💎" on Kanwar's post on September 5th.
