If you listen to the title song, the premise of this show is that Pallavi will meet and marry a man who will bring all kinds of joy into her life and release her heart to soar through the sky. What Raghav wants and values is not mentioned at all. Maybe the necessary qualities are within him already, maybe he'll change for her, or maybe he'll be sacrificed, but implicitly this should be a story of Pallavi's triumph with Raghav's support.

Have we seen progress in that direction? So far, not at all. The business that Pallavi fought to protect from Raghav for three months hasn't flourished with his love; marriage to Raghav has isolated Pallavi from her friends; she even seems to dress and adorn herself for his taste and not her own. On Raghav's side, he wanted his Ammā and Kirti, and now he has them, but instead of respecting their values and trying to make them proud by their measure, he treats them like furniture, and Pallavi like a punching bag. When she needs emotional support, he shows up drunk so that he does the talking and she does the listening. He makes decisions "for her sake" that he can't share with her because she would disapprove. Instead of asking whether Raghav needs to change, we should ask why Pallavi puts up with him.

If two people marry, both should change their selfish ways; whoever is more selfish ought to change more. Past tragedy is not an excuse to be selfish in marriage, nor is being self-aware or self-made or generous. Whether Raghav is 27 or 87, no age is too old to adapt to new circumstances.

Everyone changes and evolves with time, what’s wrong in that ? No one is asking Raghav to change core characteristics, he is only been asked to rethink way he does business because it’s illegal and recently someone lost his life because of it.

Past trauma and other charity activities he does , doesn’t justify hiring young boys and risking one’s and their lives for extra profit .

Pallavi is aware that Raghav is Ghamandi, stubborn, impulsive, impatient, and so on, that’s his core characteristics.Raghav knows Pallavi is lecture ka dukaan, ziddi, Sherlock Holmes ka nani etc, they both despised these characteristics of each other prior to marriage but have now learned to accept them.

😂😂 Kind of agree...she needs to learn that her ideals are good on paper but in reality things don't work that way...but at the same time raghav should also learn to trust her , to not hide things from her be it good or bad ..to tell her and leave it to her to take her call..rest I don't want either of them to change , just accept each other the way they are..

Except for the point in red, I humbly disagree with every point you've written.

Let me try and explain to you why Pallavi puts up with Raghav.

1. He is a good man at heart albeit with a skewed moral compass

2. He loves her and respects her choices the most in this world.

3. He gave her a loving family which she always craved.

4. He fulfills all her wishes and desires before they come to her mouth.

5. She has all the freedom in the world due to Raghav. She's not bound by burdens or expectations.

6. Raghav and Amma support her blindly.

7. He makes her HAPPY.

To address your concerns about the shop, it's D family shop and hence she has no right to go back there.

Isolation : P had only 3 friends - Krishna, Nikhil and Keerti. K is a lost cause and Krishna and Nikhil are still close to her. What isolation are you talking about? Raghav or Amma never stopped her from meeting the D family, so she basically has freedom to decide what she wants to, there's no isolation here.

With respect to dressing, why shouldn't she dress for her husband. He wears marathi clothes for her. In mangalgour episode, he took 2 hours to look good for her. Both need to take efforts for each other and you can see that effort equally.

Why do u think he treats Amma like furniture. Before bringing in bappa home, he went to talk to Amma. He made Amma do all the pooja before himself. He has always confided all his decisions with amma. I'm not going to argue about K, she deserves more shit than what she's getting.

If Raghav hurts her in anger so does she. It' goes both ways but don't we always take our anger out on the ones we love the most. I don't think Pallavi has ever taken his shit, I'd never tolerate her if she did. I do agree he drowns his pain in alcohol but there are many who find solace in alcohol. Raghav has always given her the emotional support she needs, she broke in his arms after witnessing the encounter of Abhishek. Nikhil wasn't able to bring her out of her trauma, Raghav's presence was.

When you say he makes decisions for her, so does she. She promised baba to stay in D house till M gets better without discussing or consulting with Raghav.

Coming to his past tragedy, it is definitely not an excuse but it can't be ignored. People take years of therapy to get over traumatic past experiences and expecting people to overcome these at a drop of a hat is rather insensitive.

He also does put up with Pallavi but marriage is like that. No one is perfect in this world for you but you accept and understand.

I beg to differ..the title song clearly mentions that the the man she meets will bring her all the happiness in the world and only one man has done that so far and will keep on doing it..selflessly..Raghav!!

The title song is more like reassuring Pallavi that her life is going to be completed by a man..kind of theme. Yes, it addresses Pallavi but talks about Raghav!!

If this story was only and only about Pallavi than why does the title say mehendi hai rachnewali and talk about her future partner or show Raghav too..why not name the show Pallavi Akeli hai ladnewali...seriosuly this is a story of two characters..why should one be sacrificed for the other??

I don't remember Raghav ever stopping her after marriage as far as her work is concerned, on the contrary he even got her Nawab's project by reommending her and cutting down on his own profits...selective amnesia!! Not his fault if Pallavi gives more precedence to ex in laws and ex husband!!

Friends?? When did she have any?? The only mention ever has been a friend that was mudered by Mandar before her wedding..I don't see Raghav as a man who would stop Pallavi from meeting her friends..lol..u kidding right..he is not even stopping her from meeting her ex clingy psycho husband, why would he stop her from meeting friends??

Of course, he asked Pallavi to change her dressing style..which episode was that?? His first gift was downright rejected and ridiculed by the ladies of the family..and he will dictate her dressing style?? Bechare ka toh gift bhi reject ho jaata hai..woh kya kisiki style dictate karega 😆

I think understanding a character like Raghav is beyond certain people. As far as Amma and Kirti and of course Pallavi are concerned they know that they rule his heart, his mind and his house. On the contrary, in some way or another, all the women in his life have taken advantage of this, rejected him, insulted his love, have thrown it back in his face and have hurt him immensely..while he still continues to love them unconditionally..ironic!!

The months they have been married, all Raghav has done is support Pallu, in all her undertakings...i would like to see a man who would ever let his wife take care of an ex husband, and show support to a wife who leaves her current one high and dry and decides to stay at her in laws place. I m wondering here, are we watching the same show?? I mean are we talking about the same man because the Raghav you are talking about seems to be created by your biased imagination..and the one we see on our screens has a totally different set of attributes.

I agree, we do need to ask someone here why put up with this.. why HE did put up with her through all that crap. Why does he help her, her so called Aai, her so called Baba?? Why put up with her at all and her selfish ex inlaws??

Keyword..selfish.. and when u mention that word..only one person comes to mind, one who has stubbornly again and again only thought about what she wants, what she thinks is right, what she wants to do..A marriage is about two people...two ..not about one dictating right and wrong and the other simply complying!!

I agree. He has been a wonderful husband. He has stood beside Pallavi, he has supported Pallavi where she needed him the most. He has respected her, her needs. Post marriage never forced her to do something against her wish.

He has no obligation to D family but he still shows respect and care where it's due.

I think at this point a middle ground needs to be reached by these two polar opposite personalities

Raghav has to understand that a few extra bucks isn’t worth it if it endangers his family and he’s not that lone wolf anymore . He has a family and most importantly a wife which whom he plans to have a future forever . So yes given that he already has more than enough wealth for himself and his upcoming future generations as well he shouldn’t carry the name tag of Diamond smuggler anymore

As for Pallavi I hope Mandars incident have taught her that she shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and her value System rulebook might not be the guiding factor of a person being good ot bad . So she has to stop blaming Raghav from not being able to stop his Diamond smuggling business in the past instead focus on making him understand the implications it might have for their future should he decide to continue with this business . Raghav Rao wants nothing more than a family and eventually he’s going to come around and understand the danger behind this business and quit

Till then I’m loving this track . Plz no 3rd person as promised and not too much of those substandard nibba nibbis plz . Let the leads fight and sort out their differences on their own

Looking forward to this track
