Why is Kinjal silent?

I am kind of surprised that Kinjal didn't ask Vanraj "Aap kiss hak se Mummy se mana karne ke liye keh rahe hai?" and why didn't she ask Kavya "How is it any of her business?"

And for goodness sake, Vanraj first got that cafe job from his friend, Toshu got his job from his mother in law, then the cafe started in Bapuji's building!!! Why isn't Kinjal, the only person with brain in that family, saying ANYTHING?

And Pakhi needs to start standing up for her mother!!! She seemed happy when her mother accepted the partnership!!!

Anupama needs to reflect on what kind of example she's setting for her own daughter?

I totally agree with this post. Kinjal was the only one who had guts to say the right things to the stupid Shah family.

She has supported Anupama in the past against Vanraj, Kavya, Baa, Toshu and even Pakhi. Nowadays, she keeps mum when Vanraj starts his spate of taunts on Anupama and only speaks up against Kavya or Toshu.

Coming to Pakhi, this girl when needed can say the meanest things on earth to her mother but cannot utter a word against her father when she sees him ill-treating her mother. She can't open her mouth against her former bestie either. She plays child / adult card as per her convenience.

Because Kinjal has been shushed by Anu

In the past Kinjal had spoken against Shah elders and Anu rebuked her

We often see how Anu life was ruined but not how Anu is repeating the mistake

Anu is clipping Kinjals wings by making her conform to the Shah way

Correct. This is Anupamaa's fight. Others can support her but when it comes to arguing with her detractors, she should do it herself.

Others can take a stance for you or speak up for you but until you recognise and develop selworth you will permit folks to bulldoze you. The day Anupama sits in her store room converted to bedroom sipping her cup of tea unmindful of the shah's is when we can say she minds her business.

It is not Kinjal’s job to stand up for Anupama. Anupama is adult enough to defend herself, she does not need a champion. And no use in Kinjal saying anything at all if Anupama herself remains mum.

On the aside, I would like l Bapuji to actively stand up for Anupama’s rights with Ba and his son.
