Over Glorification of the word MAA

Honestly it's super annoying when Anupama keeps glorifying a housewife / grihani comparing them to so many professionals.

I know a mother can do a lot of things for a limited audience , but doing the same in a large scale requires much more training / strength.

You can make ur child / family happy with a few meals cos it's a family bonding thing. A mother cannot replicate that in another setting, cos the personal touch is lost.

Same thing a father does his best in other things for children. Just cos a dad can play a game of cricket or chess or carrom - we cannot say he should replace the coach. If at all anything a parent can be a first teacher / friend / guide.

A child also has a special place and talents that he could use in a family setting. You would love to see them sing or dance - doesn't automatically mean we get rid of the TV n make that a primary entertainment.

Anupamas presentation was based on this logic,

Her idea can be executed - by a businessman who wants to do charity. Not the one who wants to make profit.

On another note - saying a housewife can do everything is putting undue pressure on the ones who may not want to be known only for that.

Anupama acts like she is the only woman on this earth who got a chance to embrace motherhood 🤢 There is no other mother on this planet 🤢

Kya pakati hai yeh lady ! kuch bhi kahi bhi blabber karti rehti hai and sirf “Maa” hona enough nahi hota every single battle ko fight karne ke liye from office harassment to start up idea ! 🤢

Anuj ko iske uper crush hai isliye interest le kar sun raha tha ! Mai hoti toh ok madam thank you for the charity idea aisa bol kar bhaga deti! 🤢

And Kavya ko uske start up ke liye finance chahiye so woh presentation dene gayi yeh samaj aata hai but anupama is already having her start up dance academy fir usne presentation kyon diya ?! 🤔🤔

I was housewife more than 7 years pehle 1 2 saal joint family mai baad mai alag hue par mere husband ke 3 4 friends to khane pe hote hi the🤓 fir Canada shift hue tab bhi 2 3 paying guest hote the par jab separate hone ke 6 months ke baad maine apna catering business shuru kiya mai every day approximately 500 roti banati thi full meals alag se, kitne logo ne mujhe khud ka restaurant kholne ke liye help (including finance) ki baat kahi thi par Maine ghar se hi business operate kiya taki bete ka bhi khayal rakh Saku aur mai proudly keh sakti hu ke mujhe dekh ke har building se (Indian memory) atlast ek lady to ye kaam karti hi hai aur successful bhi hoti hai to housewife ko please taken for granted mat lo usko nicha mat dikhao as Anuj rightly said ke usko ek mouka chahiye bas.

Its commendable how you have risen up through all the difficulties life has thrown at you.

You ma'am are an example of true women empowerment and i am glad you are doing well now and hope only the best for you.

And to be honest i do get how housemakers and mothers in general are looked down upon and underestimated in general.

But i think what others are disappointed and frustrated about is that they are portraying a mother or a house maker to be some kind of super lady and that is setting unrealistic expectations for other ladies in real life.

And their concerns are in a way valid too.

Anupama takes on way too much than what is healthy for any individual let alone a cancer survivor.

But i somehow think that the idea wasnt all that bad and had its own strong points.

Home cooked food or food that are a local speciality are very very much in demand.

A lot of people actually pay for home chefs which are just home makers making food and dishes at home and delivering them on an order basis. A relatively new concept.

Also bohri's kitchen is an AMAZING step in that direction.

I would suggest all of you all to read up on it. This guy gave up his high paying job with google to open a home restaurant with his mother. His mother is the only chef there. They still serve food in their own home. And it is a HUGE success. Many bollywood celebrities have been there to have that food and have been nothing but all praises for it.

So even though the lecture and emotional stuff was quite unnecessary the idea wasnt a complete failure

Words like "mei maa hu ne" or "maa" have been used so many times in the show to such an extent that in some cases, it is not required. Also people may like "ghar ka khana" feels but even that differs for many people.

When it comes to Anupamaa, she is a wonderful cook but what about other women/maa's who would join the restaurant. Would they share the same sentiment as her? Anyway, in the show I feel "maa" is like brahmastra that is used anywhere they want.

@bold : Exactly! They are using maa word illogically in each and every track but it is not at all looking like brahmastra! Every time senseless blabbering on motherhood as a solution in every next track looks more like fuski bomb 😆

Yahi to is serial ka, theme hai concept hai. Aur shuru se, hi yahi anupama ka serial ka concept raha hai ki ki house wife jo ghar kaam karte, hi woh raat din mehnat karti hai apne bacchon ko paalti hai but use imporatant koi imporatant nahin di jaati balki use insult kiya jaata hai ki tum karti hi kya, ho aur bete ko importance di jaati hai bete ke hard work value ki jaati hai kyonki woh paisa, warner , ke laata, hai.

Waise anupama apna idea share kar rahi thi. Usko anuj ne bola ki tum bhi apna, idea bataao to usne apna opinion share kiya aur yeh anupama ka pehla presentation tha, . As far I know is anupama serial mein father ki glorificaction jyaada hui hai just because vanraj is earning money. Maa to bus itne 25 year mein bus taane insult hi sunti aayi hai just because she is just house wife aur house wife hona badi baat nahin according to toshu baa pakshi type people

I have to went to chowki dhani wahaan pe poora Rajasthan khaane milta hai and belive wahaan pur log jaise ghar mein khilayte hai pyaar se wahaan pur bhi log pyaar se agar mana bhi karo to. Bhi khilate hai stomacch bhale hi full ho jaata hai but beivve me woh itna pyaar se khilate hai it felt so nice.. Waise real life mein yeh possible nahin hoga ki hotel wale ghar ki tarah pyaar se khilaaye but agar kisi hotel. Mein agar ghar se khaana mile aur courtsey se pooche khaana to sabhi ko. Acha, lagega
