I placed my hand against my chest, feeling the pounding beat of my heart. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes. "It's okay Raavi... it's okay," I opened my eyes, none of the fear disappearing from my eyes....

Even though I had been back for quite a few days, there was a sense of danger...fear... when I entered the room. It wasn't that he was going to hurt me... regardless of how bad our fights had been... regardless of how much they escalated... I knew he would never lay a hand on me. That was the type of man Shiva was...

My husband.

No, that wasn't my fear... it was his eyes. The eyes that followed my movements... the eyes that darkened with an emotion I couldn't discern... the eyes that expected something from me whenever I looked at him...

Just what was he expecting from me?

I opened the door and immediately sighed with relief when I noticed how dark it was. He would be asleep... All I would need to do was lock the door, slip into the bed, and fall asleep.

It seemed in theory... but life never ran as smoothly for me... especially when I was around Shiva.

I landed on Shiva, and once he gently flipped us, I knew there was no escaping from him. His hands gripped onto my wrists as he leaned towards me. Even in these shadows, even if I wasn't able to make out his features, I was able to make out those eyes... the endless darkness that was hidden in them...

"W-what do you want, Shiva?" I asked softly.

His warm fingertips brushed my hair, leaving a trail of sparks wherever he touched. I closed my eyes as I felt him close the small distance between us. His lips grazed my ear, "Want?"
