What a regressive thought...what was with Amma and Raghav trying to forcefully marry Keerti? Wasnt Amma the one angry to know R married P by blackmail? That too she kept saying Raghav sudharjayega blabla...

Now why no chance to Sunny?

1) I think its pretty common to think "shadi ke baad thik hijayega". All desis who encourage arranged marriages say this anytime a conflict in said arranged marriage arises. It's not even about Amma + Raghav's own experience. This is such a widely accepted view of most desis with regards to arranged/forced marriages. The amount of times I've been told "he'll change after you marry him" to entice me to consider a prospect when I've pointed out an issue.... I've lost count LOL. It's highly regressive, but not an uncommon or surprising thought.

2) No chance to Sunny really bc of him siding with Mandar. If Sunny had just stayed out of it, I think Raghav would've been much more open to Keerti's pleas. Whatever little bit of "good" or "decency" Raghav saw in Sunny was diminished the moment Raghav found out they were siding with Mandar. Two wrongs don't make a right, but I can understand how livid Raghav is with Sunny internally, enough to make him be that dramatic with his sister. Raghav is clearly just over all of it. Those two enabled Mandar to do what he did and that is probably constantly running through Raghav's head. He doesn't see Keerti being willing to listen to anything, she's gone as far as getting her own brother divorced, that's why he isn't listening to Pallavi's advice of sitting and talking it out.
