Oh.

That is called "apni paer par kulhari maarna" in divorce cases.

All actresses should take a note 😆

Reminded me of another couple, the woman's PR makes sure to let the world know she gets paid more than/as much as the hubby does and she refuses to do the film if she's offered less.

Nobody deserves this much alimony. 1-2 crore is enough when it comes to celebs.

It should depend on the length of the marriage, financial contributions, personal wealth, careers, if someone was a stay at home parent etc.

In this case her career is supposedly stronger than his, they've only been married 4 years and don't have any kids. I don't see why she would get anything.

Yeah she has a career. I don't see why anyone would demand this much alimony.

I have no clue who these people are.

But if she’s rich with no children how is she eligible to receive such an exorbitant amount or any at all?

But as per law :

What Is The Evidence Needed For Wife To Prove That The Required Factors Are Present In Her Case And How To Prove That?

1. The first thing to be eligible to receive the alimony is that you need to prove that you are not in a financial position to maintain yourself without the help. You can prove this by submitting your monthly expenses and source of property and income, etc.

2. You also need to provide proof of your husband’s earnings, with the photocopied income tax returns and salary slips.

3. In case the husband is a businessman, you need to submit his balance sheet and P&L account.

4. In case you have dependents to take care of, like parents or children, who are in need of medical treatment, you can submit the medical documents like reports as proof.

5. If the child is going to live with you, then his/her cost of expense must be included in the alimony.
