This one is more about Shiva's pov. It's based on their Dholi Taro dream sequence!

Drabble #1: Through His Eyes

She looked like a vision as she made her grand entry. Twirling around him, she came to a halt in front of him. His eyes gazed at her, enchanted by the sheer beauty emanating from her. He traced her features and wondered how it was possible for someone to be this angelic? He glanced at her smile; it was his favorite, one that could light up a room in an instant. A smile which was worth a thousand words yet silence was the only thing he could offer as he lost himself within her radiance. A light blush settled on her cheeks, making them glimmer like the rays of the sun. He longed to graze them softly with his bare hands; to feel the warmth of her cheeks seeping into his skin, igniting within him a flame which would engulf him whole. Her eyes held the same spark they once used to, the kind of spark which would excite him every time she stood in front of him, whether it was to challenge him fiercely or to enrapture him with its playful nature. A tiny bindi sat in between her eyebrows and he wished to trace it with his fingers, just like he had done once before. He could envision the animated expressions adorning her face if he were to do it again. The notion of a possible pout taking its place on her crimson lips made his mouth twitch in anticipation. Snapping out of his thoughts, his eyes landed on the pair of jhumkas dangling from her ears, making a soft chiming noise every time they touched her skin as she danced. He was jealous. He craved to be in the same position as those inanimate objects. Life was unfair, he thought. Shifting to her hair, he observed the pretty braids which bound her hair from the front to the back of her head, framing her face delightfully. The rest of her hair was styled in soft curls which tenderly lay against her back. Her soft tresses flowed around her as if they were symphonies of an orchestra, making him wish he was the conductor. He stood hypnotized, memorizing every inch of her skin, fearing she would disappear. Her aura had a calming effect on him and he wanted to hold onto it for as long as possible.

She walked to him and encompassed his hand within hers, pleasantly surprising him. Her other hand grasped his forearm as she looked at him with, dare he say, adoration? She pulled him alongside her gently, asserting her right over him. He couldn’t help but feel joy erupting from within the depths of his soul. Her touch sent him reeling into oblivion as he stared at her starstruck. Is this what it felt like to have a companion by your side? To have someone’s hand to hold through thick or thin? To have the comfort of knowing that a special someone will always be by your side? He wished to have it all with her. When he felt a slight tug on his arm, he looked up and was graced with her evergreen smile. She gently twirled around him and his eyes followed her every move. Everyone around them disappeared. Only they existed at that moment and nothing else mattered. He felt his mouth lift as it curved upwards on its own accord. It was an alien feeling. One whose existence he had forgotten. But with her around, all of his emotions came crashing onto him, much like the tides of the ocean which have a mind of their own when they appear. Feeling her giddiness transfer to him, he started moving alongside her, dancing in rhythm. It felt like the most natural thing to do. They flowed in sync, their bodies attuned to each other’s every move and action. Their eyes never left each other as they danced in a world of their own.

Everything suddenly felt okay. The world seemed like a much better place. He felt lighter in the moment spent with her. He could live like this for an eternity. All he wanted was the solace her presence provided and he would let himself drown within her very being. He came to a stop as a wide smile took its place upon his once sullen face. Life seemed to be slowly making its way back inside him. He felt greedy, and for once, he wanted more. He turned to look around for her. He glanced to the side but she was nowhere to be seen. Reality started settling in when he realized it was all a figment of his imagination. She wasn’t here. Never was. How could he be foolish enough to conjure up her presence? Why would she come here, let alone dance with him after all that he had done? His smile faded and the same dull ache his heart was so used to the presence of, took its usual place within his chest. The ache intensified and he shut himself to the world, again. His legs led him out of the crowd and into an isolated corner from where he watched everyone dance away as his own heart burned up in flames.

If only this was not the dream, and actually a reality.😭

If only Raavi had accepted the lehenga and not burnt it,, we viewers would have got to witness this in reality, and not in a dream sequence

So beautifully written dear, do update soon🤗

Tbh I wasn't going to post this because I'm not happy with it but since I spent an hour writing it, I might as well. And I know we're getting a trip/fall scene according to the sbs segment, but this was just my little way of getting what I wanted (which we're getting 😆). Hopefully, it's not too lame :)

Drabble #2:

Shiva and Raavi stood facing one another. The fierce glare in their eyes was directed at one another. While everyone else around them chanted their names and cheered for their respective teams, they were lost within a world of their own. They uttered not a single word, yet their eyes spoke to each other. Each held a promise within the depths of their eyes, vowing to win the competition and the bike.

For Raavi, winning the bike was about her showing the boys that the girls team was equally talented as them. It served as a much-needed distraction from the current situation of her life as well. The fact that her bhootnath was participating was another factor. She would be lying if beating him wouldn’t bring her sweet joy. However, she was conflicted. She remembered how she had seen him carrying the heavy sacks all by himself the other day. Her heart twisted painfully.

“Pagal bhootnath! Kisne kaha tha bike jalane ko? Apne herogiri wali aag mein beh kar bike ko bhi aag laga diya. Ab usse aise bina bike ke dekh kar accha nahi lagta.” Raavi thought as she stared at him. And then the memory from the previous night came back flooding to her. His announcement during the Janmashtami pooja regarding her marriage. At that thought, her anger came back in full force, and she resolved to win.

Shiva stared at her, confidence seeping from his exterior. He would win and he would show her that nobody could ever beat him at his own game. He most definitely needed the bike. What would that chipkali do with a bike anyway? She couldn’t even ride one. He scoffed at the thought. To him, it seemed like Raavi was just doing it all to spite him and he resolved to win the bike by hook or crook. Victory shall be his.

Their respective teams started stacking up as part of a pyramid and finally, it was time for the race to begin. Raavi and Shiva ran towards their teams and started climbing. Shiva skillfully crawled up, showing his expertise while Raavi seemed to be struggling on her end. He looked over at her and his eyes softened. He hoped she wouldn’t fall and hurt herself. As he kept climbing, he couldn’t help but gaze at her time and again, ensuring that she was okay. It seemed that the closer he got to the matki, the farther his resolve to win seemed. Someone else was hogging up all his focus. His mind cleared up when he felt water soak him from head to toe. He looked down to see Dev hosing him down before moving onto the other side.

On the other hand, Raavi tried her level best to keep up with his pace. She glanced over at him to see him work his way up smoothly and she felt herself getting lost in him. She started admiring him, a blazing desire for him coursing through her very being. When she felt herself getting drenched, she shook herself out of her stupor and she focused on the matki. She had to win. When she finally reached the matki, she looked over to see Shiva had already been at the top. He smirked at her before raising the coconut in his hand. Raavi hastily grabbed her own coconut and smashed the matki. She thought she had won when she heard cheers erupting from down below, but her smile fell when she saw that Shiva had apparently broken the matki first.

Shiva made his way down quickly after smashing the matki. He had won yet his heart seemed unhappy and restless. He looked at his chipkali who was refusing to budge from her position. Everyone was calling out to her to come down but she kept her eyes trained on him. Suddenly, one of the girls lost her balance and the pyramid crumbled. Shiva sprinted forward shouting her name. His heart started palpitating in fear.

To keep herself from falling, Raavi clung onto the remaining part of the matki still hanging from the top. When she realized her predicament, her eyes widened in horror before closing shut. She heard her maasi shouting but more than her, there was another voice which reached her ears first and it sounded like a melodic symphony to her.

“Raavi! Matki chhod! Woh kuch hi der mein pura ka pura phut kar gi jayega.” Shiva yelled.

Raavi trembled in fear but was able to answer back. “Kaise chhodun?! Tu pagal hai kya? Maine isse chhod diya toh mera kya hoga? Mera toh sar, pair, naak, muh sab ka sab toot phoot jayega. Main nahi chhodne wali!"

“Arreh darpok, chhod! Main hoon yahan. Nahi girne dunga tujhe.” Shiva tried to convince her as he saw her hands slipping.

“Main nahi- ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Raavi screamed as the part of the matki she was holding onto separated from the top.

Raavi kept her eyes shut as she thought this was it. She was going to die. She huffed thinking she didn’t even win. What a way to go. She waited for the hard blow of the floor to hit her but instead found herself within the confines of two strong arms. She popped one eye open and saw that she had landed in Shiva’s arms. She let out a breath of relief before burying her face in the crook of his neck. She shivered from not only her most recent experience but also from the way being in his arms was making her feel. It felt good. It felt like she belonged there, and she didn’t want to let go. Warmth enveloped her from within and she nuzzled her nose further into his neck. The rest of the world didn’t exist at that moment. Not to them.

Shiva stared at Raavi’s buried face in the column of his neck and his arms instinctively tightened around her. He couldn’t explain the feeling of dread which had filled his guts when he saw her fall. All he knew was that as long as he was there, he would let no harm come to her. He came back to reality when he felt her warm breath upon his skin. His insides churned from pleasure, and he shuddered. He squeezed his eyes, taking in a huge gulp of air. Shaking his head, he walked away from the crowd, finding a place for her to sit down. As he walked, he slowly whispered into her ear, “Kaha tha na, tujhe girne nahi dunga.”

Raavi’s arms tightened around him in response as she finally looked up to stare at him. Losing herself within those onyx eyes of his, she forgot all about reality and how she was supposed to be fighting with the man in front of her.
