Yes, her choice turned to be right but that doesn't change how I feel about her decision.

Amma didn't force Raghav to marry her by blackmail. She definitely blackmailed him that she would return home because she knew he had a MU about Pallavi. Even after the marriage she truly believed that Raghav didn't force her and that Pallavi agreed to the marriage because she had no family left. She also took this decision post her conversation with aayi who said she wanted a nice life partner for her widowed daughter in law. Again, Amma wasn't aware of the dynamics of how Pallavi agreed to the marriage. She was herself shocked that D family wasn't there at the wedding.

I feel like Amma was trying to convince herself that that was the case. She spoke to aayi and knew that Aayi was supportive of Pallavi. She knew aayi wanted to find a life partner for her but Aayi didn't ask for a life partner at Raghav. Of course Raghav is good but back then in Aayi and Pallavi's eyes definitely not. In my opinion the bigger reason was her wanting to sort Raghav otherwise she would have spoken to Pallavi. She isn't that naive to believe Pallavi was willing when Keerthi had a doubt.

Raghav told her that they had reached a compromise and had spent some friendship time in the past and that is why Pallavi agreed to marry him. Amma slapped him when she got to know the truth and kept showing him tbe right path. Pallavi also told Amma that she had no right to take the decision for Pallavi or Raghav. I loved that scene. She was direct without being disrespectful.

Her son would definitely lie to her. Also after all that had happened past friendships don't really matter. I'm glad she realised she was wrong but I feel like all that was hollow. If she genuinely felt like the forceful marriage was wrong she wouldn't do it to Keerthi. She'd just prevent her from getting married to Sunny.

Again, I am not justifying what Amma did was right, her intent was right but she had no right to do it. Had Raghav been not as good, Pallavi was stuck in a bad marriage.

I get her intent wasn't too wrong. But I feel like it was slightly wrong because she did want Pallavi to sort her son because she was mentally strong enough. She should know better than asking someone to get married to the person who humiliated them like that.

That track was where I was most annoyed with Amma. I mean if she had learnt the lesson and realised forcing people to get married is wrong and told Raghav not to do that and just to try to prevent SunKee wedding I could let go of that decision. But she clearly didn't🤔 and she told her beta to let go of Pallavi only after he had 'improved' in her opinion.
