Breaking News: Aamir Khan Hurt

Aamir was filming for Ghajini in Hyderabad when he injured his hamstring while performing a hand to hand comabt scene. The actor's publicist has confirmed the news to us.

"As you know Ghajini is an action filled film. Aamir was in a scene that required him to lift a very big man and through him to a wall. While doing that he pulled his hamstring which has resulted in a severe internal injury. Aami was in a lot of pain."

"He was immediately shown to the doctors who have prescribed medication for him. As a result Aamir has only been sleeping all day long," she says.

The injury is said to be quite serious which led to the filming to come to a complte halt with no idea of when it is likely to resume. "All I can say right now is that the filming is stopped. We don't know when it will resume," says the publicist, "The doctor have asked him to take it easy."

Aamir is said to be under medical observation. It is unknown when the shooting will resume. Sources say that the actor could be on bed rest for some days.

Aamir Khan's Ghajini is one of the most awaited films of the year. Although filming is still on, the film has already been sold for 95 crores. The film is scheduled for release on October 3rd.
