Well, isn’t it obvious that “Hindi” movies will have more “Hindu” actors playing roles ? What’s the shock in that?

There’s only a handful of Muslim actors and from the new lot I don’t think we have any? Ranbir and Ranveer are the top actors… and then we have Tiger, Sid, Varun, Arjun, Ayushman, etc.

Saif also did LOC Kargil and Phantom. What's yours point?

Edit - No offence, but why-o-why is it so much fun to put up topics on such themes? Never understood the idea behind this.

Edit 2 - Reminds me of Nawazuddin too..who played the role of an IB official in Kahaani (not a patriotic movie, but again a Muslim guy playing a intel officer). He also played the titular role in Thackeray, based on a controversial political leader known for his right wing ideology, for which Nawaz received both flak & appreciation as well. (Again, not a patriotic movie)

It's sad that due to this mindset, Muslims will always have to "prove" their patriotic intentions or how Indian they are. It's almost like you assume they are outsiders because of their religion. Which is why anytime any Muslim celeb has made a critical comment about India they always get told to go back to pakistan. As if that's their country.

I don't blame you. You probably have been around this sort of conversation so often that it's now ingrained. Someone somewhere might have made that statement and you just thought briefly and hindsight bias, couldn't think of a patriotic movie recently and came to this conclusion. But even the thought is prejudiced and bigoted. Indian Muslims are as Indian as anyone else. They don't need to prove it
