the argument affected toshi's performance - Page 2

I have heard Toshi sing that same song on VOI and it was mind blowing!! The judges and audience were amazed and really appreciated his singing.
So i do believe that the drama before hand with vineet which was out of order, the guru's told vineet that we have selected toshi to sing this song he should of taken it like a man but no he had a tantrum like a 4yr old! Toshi didnt sing ip to his level this time but it wasnt all that bad either. Not to worry all toshi fans's i knw it, insallah he is going b bk next time he sings he will rock the stage you watch!!!
Come on Toshi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually vishal cornered him without giving chance to explain...... he actually won the bet he put and hence there is no question of "music chhod dunga"

He said to gurus that he will leave music if toshi had sung better than him. Well toshi did nt sing better than him, so he won the bet. He never said that he sang it perfect or he can sing it perfect. Atleast i did nt hear any such conversation. Another thing is that toshi was taking all scientific names like matra sur taal and all.... are naam lene se koi ustaad singer hota to main yeh words sikhkar bolunga ke meri sur taal matrayen sahi thi.

A slip of sur at high notes is normally audible because the voice cracks... however same is not true to general audience for lower notes. Toshi was totally off in lower notes of this song in VOI as well this friday. I dont know how he got applause in VOI performance. If someone can sneak in my updates of VOI, u can still find that i criticised his lagan lagi performance the most as i felt it was his worst performance on VOI. in antara there is a change of scale in two lines which vinit took but toshi did nt. he was not audible at lower notes.

i disagree with those who say toshi didnt sing Lagan lagi song well in VOI unless you really know music, sur etc and are a professional you cant judge his high and low notes, and if you recall back to that performance not only did the audience applause him and go mad, the judges gave him 10 and some very good comments!! Judges like Alka, abhijeet etc they knw their music so no offense he SANG VERY WELL that day, and the visitors on the show that day declared him the winner!!! He had to sing it again as the audience were shouting once more and so were we at home!!
His last performance on this show wasnt very good, but i still blame vineet for that, for having his silly tantrums
But noone can say he sang lagan lagi bad on VOI-

In my opinion Toshi did sing the lagan lagi song same as he has sung it before. I actually heard him singing this song not once but more than once. It seems to be his favorite song. I find it difficult to agree with those who say that Toshi sung better or worse than his own earlier performance.

As for Vinit let us go by Vishal's words. Did he not say "..aap ne wo karke dikhaya jiska dawa kiya tha .." ?

toshi is a gud singer no doubt...he knows his music, has grt control etc but i have always felt (frm the little that i have heard of him) that he is inconsistent- one day he is outstanding n on others avg (even on UKU it was the same)...his last perf was not up2 the mark,vineet was better on that day (esp considerin he had the added pressure of havin to prove himself) but i felt he was rude esp to the gurus...
