i agree with you guys that cloning human organs is good and it could save many lives. our immune system will readily agree to our cloned organ than organs from other donors.

I agree with U Indygirl, u have mentioned several points, I agree science is for the betterment of humanity we have come this far solely due to the curiosity and discvery factor. Take for instance internet and mobile, the technology was first used for defence purpose but the spin off effect has been in the civilian area.
So is the case with human cloning, there are countless people who can benefit when one or the other organ is required to be replaced.
But as with every thing there is darker side to its use and abuse. Who will control future technology and what is ethical and not ethical is the billion dollar question? Surely America as a Super Power has the will and the capability to engage the world in a debate and then come to a conclusion to mutually agreed principles reagarding its use and abuse. There is always a possibility of Doctors behavings as Gods, unleashing clones that are a distorted version of what Nature created and then create havoc. For all this checks are required.
