Disclaimer : i haven't seen any of the previous episodes completely.

But from what we've heard since Mandaar's entry was that Vijay Deshmukh was an extremely controlling father. Someone who kept his kid under his fear and not love so Mandaar coming out to be a psycho just like his father is not even shocking to any of us.

To be honest i think that fear and control worked on his mind and when he saw Pallavi, something hit him. And he wanted her, this time having even his father's support to get married to her. Maybe he's never gotten anything he wanted because Vijay Deshmukh was dominating but when it came to Pallavi even VD approved hence he felt dominating for the very first time in his life.

Loop holes first:

Mandaar has such a creepy background. I'm doubtful of Deshmukh's having a glimpse to this side. Especially Aai and Baba since she said Mandaar was affected psychologically because of Baba. I hope Aai did not know this extreme. If she knew and got him married to Pallu then I'm going to regret all the appreciation posts I made for her. That's a straight minus for spoiling a woman's life.

Also, they could have given a trigger warning.

Now the plot:

That guy is the definition of a Sociopath.

Pallavi acting smart is better than her calling him out, cause he would do what he did to Aai or even worse. Smart move Pals. 😎

He's justifying stalking and killing Devyani. Eww.

I feel so bad for Pallavi here, she lost her best friend and got married to her murder. This just says that she is really lucky to escape him. That situation is unimaginable.

The way he took her phone and locked her inside the room. 🤢

Raghav would go super angry the moment he knows the truth.

That would be a big breaking point for her, especially if Aai hid about Mandar's psychotic side from her. She loves Aai a lot, Aai treated her as her own daughter... So, now if they show that Aai hid about Mandar's true nature from Pallavi then she will definitely be hurt a lot... and she'll also be mad for this.
