I have so many thoughts about today’s. Tagging Nidhi and Parul, because they’re gonna be proud of me for putting aside my cynicism and being all gush-gush today 😆

First I really, really loved the bitter coffee scene. I know I’m always complaining about too much cheese being cringey, but this silly coffee/tea mein sugar nahi hai trope always gets me super gush-y. Plus, the cheesiness is reduced because Pallavi calls it cheesy. Basically, I found it insanely cute. Equally cute- them chasing around again (I’ve said it before, but I’m so weak for them behaving kiddishly. Mera din ban jaata hai)

Ayi and Mandaar stole the show today- Ayi deliberately left out the sugar, kya? That’s what I felt for sure. Either way, I always knew Ayi would be the first to know the truth about him- a mother always knows and I was glad that’s how it played out. My heart went out to her today. Those tears, the fear when he mentioned dying- it would be the one thing that would hit hardest, threatening her with the nightmare she’s already had to survive once..

But I’m so glad this guy is the real deal and has his memories- makes the plot infinitely more interesting than a doppelganger. And I feel like there’s still potential to unravel a bit more about Pallavi’s past with the real Mandaar.

God, I can’t help but wonder what Ayi must have been thinking as she fell, and as she lay dying on the ground, and I shudder every time I imagine it. The poor woman- she did not deserve this. At all. To have your son try to murder you because you found out the games he was playing with your adopted daughter- be she stays true to her word, every single time- Pallavi ki Ayi sach much mein Pallavi ki dhaal hai.

I also loved that Pallavi had that sense of foreboding- I know it feels over the top, but it worked in this episode to drive home the strong bond between the two women. And I’m so glad Raghav was with her when she got the news- this is probably the worst phone call she’s received in her life. She’s going to need support.

Speaking of Raghav- I’m so glad he has seen through Kirti. For someone who figured out about Kirti and Sunny just by her lingering perfume, there have been too many clues for him to miss. Glad he’s back to form!

Last note- I’m going to hawa mein filter the “RaghVi ka pyaar” dialogue- seriously, why does that dialogue exist? 🤣

A bit random but today's scenes of Raghav's cheesey lines reminded me of a convo I had with my cousins of how we felt about guys reciting hindi lyrics or poems or anything romantic in any language to us.

So, just want to pose a fun question for everyone :

Do you think its romantic when your s.o. says romantic (seemingly poetic) lines to you - whether its english, hindi or whatever language? Or would you cringe like Pallavi did? Or does it just depend on what they say?

I'll speak for myself first - I think I'd cringe all the same if they were spoken out loud however, when it's written, I'm more likely to swoon over it.

Although one time, an ex wrote me a song, but in bengali, and my primary language is english, so I cringed real hard. Needless to say we got into a fight that day. We are no longer together.

Definitely cringe. Maybe in a language that i don't know or have lesser knowledge of i might think it is sweet/ cute.
