I start my day with a big mug of chai along with 2 eggs. Basically it’s my breakfast.


Lunch would be anything ( chicken, mutton, fish, vegetables) that’s made at home with one roti & curd.


After lunch i like to have another cup of tea.


Dinner is mostly what i eat in lunch minus any carb like roti or bread. It’s very rare i end up eating 2 rotis in a day.


Also in between my meals i like to snack on fruits except for banana.

Same, I gained 2 pounds just by reading your post because it has McD in it..😭

I really want to do intermittent fasting....I can stay a long time without food....I only need my tummy full before going to bed, the problem is that I need 2 cups of coffee in the morning at 6:30 when I sit down for work and that breaks the fast..🤔

As a child and even now I love to study...my husband finds that hard to believe.....one day I was complaining to him...how both our kids don't like to study...and my husband is like...oh they are normal kids like me...no normal person likes to study.....😆.....I guess there are people like you and me who do abnormal things.....I also hate sleeping, I feel like sleeping is such a waste of time...people find it hard to believe too....how can someone not like to sleep...😆...I don't know what my mumma ate when she was pregnant with me.....I blame it on her🤣

That’s still fine. Allow yourself the coffee and nothing else. Eat solid foods during the eating window. It’s a good beginning!👍🏼

Will that work, I drink coffee with splenda and milk...I mean I can start tomorrow if it will work..

OMG same here. 😲 .Though I sleep as soon as I hit the pillow, I can hold it off as much as possible and can still operate very well unlike some of the folks who start falling apart with just one hour less sleep.😆Sleeping is not my most favorite thing, I just do it bare minimum so that I can continue to live. 😆

It’s the little steps that will work. You can’t expect to perfect it the day you start. You start with baby steps all that, remember?

Intermittent fasting allows coffee and tea. It just doesn't allow the sugar, milk or cream in your coffee.

Beginners can tweak it so that they can still get some of the benefits of the fasting. It will at least keep them off grazing and the other habitual eating. I personally have started off allowing myself tea with sugar and all.

Try to cut out the milk slowly. Use lesser and lesser amounts each day until you get used to black coffee. I have a major sweet tooth but I cut out sugar this way in my daily coffee. Now I’m so used to my black coffee with no sugar that I don’t like it any other way. Those sweet coffee desserts from Dunkin’ and Starbucks make me want to puke now.
