Saturday episode
I did not enjoy the episode comparing to last week. Nothing wrong with the contestants. The contestants including PD were excellent as usual. My mood went off watching the consent of KJO with a cunning face on Adi's crappy comment that KJO arranged to send the contestants to their hometown!!! I understood I am going to enter an episode full of falsehood. Even I found his praisings for the contestants not coming from his heart, coming from his lips only. I felt that he did some homework on his remarks and prepared the remarks before he appeared in the show. I started to miss the purity, the honesty, the modesty of Kavitajee. 😔
Sayali: Sayali did justice to the song. The masti could be felt. She has improved a lot in delivering the dramatic expression in a song. 👏
Arunita: This is a repeat song for Arunita and she was superb as usual. She has been always perfect in creating the alluring ambience with her god gifted voice. ❤️ She executed the song with the required intensity demanded by the song. I can feel each and every word of the song as she sings with that clarity and emotion. 👍🏼 Her singing blew me away in enduring the divine spiritual sense of attachment. She is so musical that I think if she expresses her anger on someone, he/she will take it as a heavenly tuneful blessings. 😃However, I am a self declared biased pagla fan of Arunita and anything she says leads to celestial melodious music for me. ❤️
Pawandeep: Pawandeep sang the song very beautifully. His voice suited for the mood of the song. He was lucky to get the most powerful two songs from KJO films in the week just before the finale comparing to SMP and Nihal who were actually given dust to bloom flower from the same. I liked Pawandeep's version of this song and was thinking if his voice was a little bit clear the song could have been a milestone for him. No one will get such opportunity to perform in this type of song on regular basis and I think he could not capitalize its fullest potentiality. IMO he could not maintain the intensity of the song due to lack of clarity and his struggling in maintaining the tune. However, he could manage to leave a strong mark due to the integrity in his voice that is commendable. The song itself is such beautiful that if I sing the same in my Anu Malik type of besura voice; it will create sorts of appeal.😛 However, as per my Biwi, this is the most beautiful performance in any reality show.😲 I did not dare to involve in a debate with her. Biwi Khush to Main bhi Khush. Ghar main bhi shanti barkarar rakhna jaruri hain. 😆🤣
Danish: I liked his performance. I could connect and feel his emotion in the song. I like his effort in giving more than 100% for the performance every time. He was excellent yesterday. 👏
SMP: SMP was brilliant as usual but I did not like the song given to her. I am not sure how the songs are selected for the contestants and don't know whether the contestants have any say in selecting the songs. II could not demonstrate even 50% of the capacity of SMP in total season. She is a precious gem and II team should have given her ample opportunity to play for demonstrating her real talent. If she requires additional time to display her versatility, II team should have arranged that. II team avoided extra work and induced SMP to deliver all the songs in same style. They gave her time for 'Cham Cham' and she showed her power. Ashish and SMP prepared the composition for their duet and in that case also magic happened. II team ignored her multidimensional capability. I would love to hear a sad number from SMP in her own style with yodelling and voice modulation. I know it would be a masterpiece but II team does not have that time to invest for SMP. 😡SMP seemed very relaxed about the competition and that is good. I always admire her talent and am looking forward to see her success in home and abroad. 👏
Nihal: Nihal is the most underrated singer of this show. I have no idea how such song was selected for him just before the finale. He could be given any one of Ab mujhe or Channa Mayera allotted to PD to rationalize the balance in giving equal opportunity to perform in a competition. However, Nihal did justice to the given song. He caught the mood of the song and delivered accordingly. I believe he will be a big name in music industry in future. 👏
May be my perception about KJO disturbed me in this episode to enjoy properly and at the same time the video on returning hometown ruined my attention from music. 😔
