3 Things I'm Grateful For:

1. My family as they picked me up when I was at my lowest point. They also always look out for me 🧡

2. My best friends from college. I am a complete loner in real life, and it is very hard for me to open up to anyone as I am an introvert. Despite graduating a few years ago, I am still laughing away with my best friends from college 🧡

3. Getting into medicine. It was a childhood dream of mine (started when I was around 10-12, and became very, very strong when I was about 16-17). When I was rejected from school the first application cycle, I was absolutely crushed... after getting some work experience and learning how much of a privilege medicine is, I realized how wonderful medicine is!

3 Dreams I Want Fulfilled:

1. I want to go to the darkest place on Earth so I can see the entire universe etched in the sky. I love stars... if not for medicine, I think I would've pursued astrophysics in college!

2. Write a children's book. I've been writing since I was about 7-8, and I've always wanted to write some sort of children's book myself.

3. Meet a life partner who shares my values and is able to joke around with me until the end

I haven’t changed my last name at all and I am happy and proud about that. I still go by my maiden name. Infact it was my husband who suggested that I keep the same for GC purpose so paperwork is all easy. He didn’t want to go through name change hassle. Now if they associate my name with his last name, he gives them all a look and corrects them to say my maiden name.

My mom has both her dad’s and my dad’s name in her name 😆

She’ll give me a look if I ever forget to write either one with her name 🙈😂
