Hello forum wasis!
How have you been? I've been away for a few days, and finally watched the epis of 3 days. What I takeaway from the current track from the characters is as follows:-
1. Raghav - My dearest character ❤️ - This is a man who is smart beyond his age, but only when it comes to his business. When it comes to love and affection, he falters big time. Thinking of why he behaves the way he does i.e. insecure and a non trusting husband, though his words beg to differ, I have concluded that Raghav has some serious self worth issues. He may say he is Raghav Rao, he loves himself etc but this man has lived a lonely life where he probably made peace with the fact that is he indeed unlovable. He weaved his arrogance and bad ass image as a coping mechanism. Then comes Pallavi, who claims to love him, and she does. But does he feel worthy of her love? Not yet. Insecurities often creep into a relationship when there is a general lack of trust, not in your partner, but in yourself. Raghav doesn't believe himself to be someone who can be loved and this is where things get complicated because he still thinks that Pallavi may leave him for a better man and he is aware that Pallavi respected Mandar. He trusts Mandar's words more than Pallavi's love. He has a long long long way to go. His words have finally come to bite his ass from the day he stopped her from leaving to Kolhapur. He asked her if she will also deny her ex husband a second chance.
They've both confessed of their undying love, but they have to prove it. Raghav claims to trust her, he has to prove it and this is definitely not by keeping a tracking device in her bag. Raghav, dude, really?
2. Pallavi - A young woman who believes in the goodness of everyone has found herself sandwiched between her love and her sense of justice and responsibility. While I believe that she has NO responsibility whatsoever to Mandar and his family, this young woman has taken it upon herself to make sure he gets better? Why? Is it due to her past relationship with Mandar or is it that she still has some feelings of respect for him? I think none of this. It's because she inherently has this streak of being a sacrificial goat by portraying her greatness. I've said it before and I say it again, Pallavi is too good for this world, too naive for a cruel society and too upright to see that she's becoming a pushover. I feel sorry for her because she's so genuine, that the people around her don't really deserve her. Including Raghav sometimes. She finds Mandar to be creepy too, I don't know why she cant act on her instincts as she did with other people, is she waiting for something extreme to happen before the lioness in her explodes? Pallavi is known to explode when something drastic happens, so I still have hopes that she will set Mandar in his place as she did Raghav.
3. Mandar - He is an imposter. He is creepy and he is here with a mission - To destroy Raghav. Does he truly feel for Pallavi the way he claims to? I doubt it.
Concluding this, Raghav is more at fault here than Pallavi because he does not have faith in his own love, and he has no faith in Pallavi's love. What Pallavi is doing is out of her sense of responsibility, She has no doubts about her love for Raghav, it's rock solid. Raghav's insecurity is making the situation worse for both of them. If he could be a bit more mature by supporting her stance, albeit a skewed one, then things would look so much different for both of them. If he could show more faith in their love than in Mandar's words, then there would be no fear. If Mandar says that in 7 days, Pallavi will be with him, what makes him believe this to be written on stone? Is it Mandar's love? Hell no. Is it Pallavi's loyalty? No. Is it his insecurity stemming from his lack of self worth? Yes. In the end, no one can take anyone away from you if they truly belong to you. This is a test for lovers all over the world. Instead of acting up, it's better to let trust and love take it's course. If right now Raghav just sits back and relaxes, it will be better than him going around sending photos of him and Pallavi to Mandar, or tracking Pallavi and Mandar etc. Pallavi is not a doll for someone to make her his wife in 7 days.
I'm loving this track. I'm loving the insecurities because it would have been really hard for me to believe that in a few months, they've come to trust each other as they claim to. The real journey of trust always starts in dire circumstances and Raghav is already failing, as expected 😆
I'm also loving all the scenes between Raghav and Pallavi and my fav one is the one where he decks her up. I was dying to see him do this ever since the reception day because then he did it out of hate and I wanted to see a scene where he does it out of love. And he did. Such a beautiful scene, with beautiful heartfelt shots. The end one being my fav after both of them get overwhelmed and just have a meaningful head touch. It's so much like how a lion and lioness often show affection, by brushing their heads together.
About the hate and negativity for Pallavi.........so misplaced.
About the hate for Mandar - Okay, we all hate him.
About the frustration for Raghav - Yep, he's failing to be her support system, unlike Pallavi who stood by him in his terrible days. He needs to step up and be her support system otherwise things are going to slip out of his hands.
About the hate for the track......I don't know, its a personal choice. I'm loving it because this is the test of time for this young couple. Without this track, what would they have shown?
Parting words
"Real trust is between people who don't seek any validation of the truth and it is not for feeble minds for it's sheer strength lies in your personal capacity of restraint, endurance and your love, up and above anyone else's words and actions.
