Shah Rukh Khan paid a moving tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the Pahalgam terror attack, and the recent Delhi blasts at the Global Peace Honours 2025 held in Mumbai. His address, delivered to a packed audience, focused on loss, resilience, and the responsibility citizens carry when speaking about peace.
A video shared by ANI shows him opening his speech with a direct message. “My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and the recent Delhi blasts and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks,” he says. His tone stays measured, reflecting the gravity of the moment.
He then mentions that he was asked to say four lines dedicated to Indian soldiers. SRK recites, “When someone asks you what you do, say with pride that I protect the country. If someone asks you how much you earn, smile slightly and say, I earn the blessings of 1.4 billion people. And if they turn around and ask you again, Aren't you ever afraid? Look them in the eye and say, those who attack us feel it.” The hall listens closely as he speaks, with the lines carrying both simplicity and force.

Once the clip began circulating online, viewers responded with strong reactions. One fan wrote, “Only Shah Rukh Khan can turn a stage into a message of unity, grace, compassion, and patriotism delivered with absolute dignity and that’s why he’s called the King of Indian cinema.”
The Global Peace Honours 2025, hosted by Vikrant Massey, aims to recognise acts of courage and public service. Tiger Shroff will perform a special piece honouring the martyrs, while Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, and several other personalities will join citizens and dignitaries in paying respect. The event will also present categories such as the Global Peace Honours, National Valour, and Leadership Honour.
