I think the distancing aspect of Sairat is a matter of concern for most people. It's not about hating any sctor. Even if Ayesha is hesitant, it's not right. I know of an actress who had a no intimacy clause in her contracts. But I have never seen anything lacking in her intimate scenes on screen! That's the professionalism of the entire team... ultimately you want to create believable, relatable content for viewers. That's the least we viewers can expect.
All I feel is the directors, editors, cast should remember that once the camera is on...it's about the story and the characters, the dynamics between them should be the focus. Nothing else!
Everything was fine in Hyderabad. Definitely, we are over analysing this track and sometimes making excuses too. But we do know heart of hearts, that the spark can still be there, the beauty of the writing of scenes is what can add the spark without falling over each otherđ
Like this new promo news, most of us are not expecting much from the 'honeymoon' track. That's kind of sad.
You actually echoed my thoughts...
Sad to see SaiRat already loosing it's charm.
I understand the frustration. But i think the problem is the lack of consistency in how the Sairat scenes are shot n poor direction. Not sure how much it is actor's discomfort. I think its more a direction issue. There are some Sairat scenes which are really good and they look exactly like husband wife n then there are scenes where they look socially distanced! They need to be careful showing these scenes. The more they inch closer to the confession, they need to show Sairat close to each other. In the most recent episode when he is walking with her in the hospital, it looks kinda awkward coz it seems like theres is too much distance between them. Infact for someone as injured as Sai, virat would need both his hands to support her, one hand to hold him and one hand around her shoulder or waist to support her- see how they showed Sai support Virat when he was coming back home. So yeh toh common sense hai. But here they show him hold files in one hand and the other hand Sai is holding but she is standing like a whole foot away from himđđ. But few episodes back when he has her head in his lap after accident, he actually picks up her hand n presses his lios against the back of her hand covered by a dupatta but its like he kissed but it looks intimate because of how its shot. So I wish they had done a foreahead kiss too or showed him caress her face, cup her cheeks, something more.... These are the little touches one expects as they show this couple get closer to each other. I hope to see a hug or a face cupping scene in Sairat bedroom in the next episode.
Walking that way is not even comfortable in general.. for someone as sick as Sai it's even more uncomfortable..No amount of track is that way..Virat is guilty justifies that walk..That walk simply looked uncomfortable and in general is uncomfortable.. That's why I keep saying I am so upset with direction and dialogues..

So so true..
Few months back I hurt myself badly on my foot and I needed stitches. My cousin used to take me for regular visits to the doctor. He actually had to bend a little to hold me around my waist and I had to put my hand on his shoulder for support. I think thats the normal way to support when someone is injured
Here Sai had sever car accident and her husband is supporting her maintaining 2 gaj ki dooriya. Director could have make the scene bit more realistic. đ¤˘

That too two hands in two hands .... Aise kaun support deta hai bhai...
Lakshmi I agree due to direction issues sometimes scenes get spoiled and also because of using BD in crucial scenes. I get bothered more about the later though.
I have always felt that Neil is a fabulous actor and a dedicated one tooâŚso we canât suspect him there. We have seen holi sequences and all they are perfect.
As someone pointed out it could be due to KD effect. I always told this⌠if you are copying KD then donât show such proximity!! Then go back to KD levelsâŚit confuses people đ¤. Yesterdayâs handholding looked off because it felt like he was not supporting sai enough. But thatâs ok because he was holding files and all. Also too scared to go near the biwi đ¤. NeilSha looks comfortable offscreen too. So it should be comfortable when real scenes play out. Letâs see..
The only time offscreen affected me is the recent outing pictures of neil and aish with the family. The pictures are too intimate that it spoiled sairat for a moment. I donât dislike aish and find her chirpy and positive and i donât have problem with their relationship. Just in those pictures I imagined pakhi with virat. đł but later as we both discussed that day I came out of it.
I agree with you that direction should be taut but no qualms about neil or Ayesha!! Letâs wait how this track plays out.
Ps: in KD virat will be struggling to touch her hand in the car!! Here sairat are hugging so he might try to be more intimate. Letâs see how the actors play out these. đ

At least should have used wheel chair given Sai's physical condition đ¤˘

I like Aishwarya and Neil offscreen personally.. They suit each other.. Not a shipper or reel or real jodi... But I really like Neil and Aishwarya as a pair ..

You yourself have mentioned about his fiance and how you won't tolerate any kind of compromise in onscreen part. đ¤ What I understood is that you did not have problem so far but now you do have because you think offsreen is ruining onscreen.
And the amount of hatred Neil is getting because of that is just crazy. I am not saying you are hating on him but it was a comment in general. Sorry if you felt I was just pinpointing you.
@bold thanks for understanding, please donât say sorry.
The offscreen part was brought up to say that it doesnât matter to me because usually such criticism gets misunderstood that people have issues because of their offscreen relationship or even due to Aish. Frankly, it is their personal life and I have watched their interviews and they look a happy couple who knows what they want. Whenever there has been topics about offscreen related issues, I have always been saying the same, nothing matters to me as long as the onscreen content is good. Thatâs what I have said in this post too.
I would have criticised anyone if I was unhappy with them.
I watched the episode because forum was happy about didiâs baizati, otherwise I have stopped watching this show due to extreme negativity where the whole family attacks one girl simultaneously like hyenas episode after episode.
About your point of social distancing, I couldnât agree more. While shouting at Pakhi, Birat was so close to her, even the circling around her was in close proximity, but supporting his wife, the one he LOVES, after a huge accident and when she couldnât stand was from far. It looked so weird. Even in precipitation where he brings Sai home, the support looked so weird. In previous episodes while wiping Saiâs tears he clearly doesnât touch her and itâs visible.
I have no issue with Neilâs and Aishwaryaâs Roka and I know you donât have it either. You have always been supportive of them and your views have been very unbiased and respectful. But I will say you are brave to make this topic because anytime we bring this up itâs because we are against the roka. Obvious things have to be blind sided in order to not be called so.
Also, there are most interviews of the vamp and the ML in one frame. ITV usually has ML and FL promoting the show. Here ML and the Vamp give interviews in one frame and they have early on bashed Sai together where as Pakhi is still justified (in which world that would be?) These are clear examples of real effecting reel and not by the audience, but the actors.
Actors have worked together with their exes and their current spouses and it looks natural. Hrithik, Aishwarya and Abhishek worked in dhoom and the couple played ML and vamp and the vamp had sizzling chemistry with Hrithikâs character, there was no issue. Roka was done there too. Hope the PH does something about it especially if itâs not deliberate from the actorsâs side because such poor quality scenes damage the show. It will effect all of them ultimately if not right away.
