This is exactly my question. What if the Verma's say that even though they do not want to "adopt" Suhana, they still want her to know the truth and that Devakshi are not her birth parents. That she is their poti and they are her grandparents. And expect Suhana to call them dada, dad and stay with them sometimes. Will Sona who is constantly trying everyone to stop saying anything to Soha allow for that.

The only way out is for Sona to embrace and accept the truth of what happened and accept the changes both ways.

Even otherwise, Dev & Sona need to tell Soha the truth considering that Dev has done a major blunder by revealing the truth to one kid (Ayush) while keeping the other kid involved ( Soha) completely in the dark about the interchange. 😓 Children have tendency to blurt out the truth at inopportune time so I won't be surprised if Soha comes to know about the swap from Ayush. If not Ayush, Ishwari is always ready to do the honours especially if she feels her pota is being deprived of his rights in the Dixit house because of Soha.😬

I agree that kids say the darndest things and blurt whatever comes to their minds. 😃

But I wouldn’t blame Dev for not telling the truth to Soha. The complete responsibility of that on Sona who keeps getting Dev and Ishwari and everyone to not say anything to Soha. Dev and Ishwari would have told the truth to Soha by now. It is all on Sona.

I don't think even Dev wants Soha to know. If he hires a good enough lawyer he can go around the visitation rights thing tbh. They did give up a girl child for a guy doesn't reflect nicely on them. Soha also doesn't know them so I don't think they will be able to.

The most they can claim is visitation rights to AYUSH at max.

Also who knows how much money they have for a court case

It is true that a good lawyer can stall the case or win it in Dev’s favor. But both Dev and Sona are well known. If their separation was in the news and papers, this will also get in the papers.

People talk and kids repeat what they hear at home. If both Suhana and Ayush are in same school and other kids talk, There is high possibility that Soha will know the truth with dire consequences.

It is not just Sonakshi who doesn't want Soha to know the truth. Everyone in the Dixit family (including Dev, Ishwari & GKB' & her family) want to keep the truth hidden away from Soha. Sonakshi is more vocal about it because Soha is her lifeline & she is concerned about the effect, the truth could have on Soha when she comes to know she is not really Devakshi's kid & is not related by blood to any of the family members whom until now she had considered as her own.

Since Dev has already revealed the truth to Ayush, it would be prudent of Devakshi to sit down with Soha & gently break the news of the circumstances of her birth toher while at the same time they need to make her understand & convince her that even if she is not their biological kid she will always be their first child & she will always have a special place in their hearts, she will forever be their princess & that their love for her will never change or lessen even if they legally adopt Ayush or shower their love on him too.

Ishwari & Dev is not wrong ,yeah their over possessiveness is bad but problem is with sonakshi she is behaving like season-1 dev where dev was hiding truth from ishwari about sona ( his girlfriend)& we all know the result than if the same history repeats bcoz this time sonakshi is hiding truth from soha . Sometimes I feel sonakshi and ishwari have nature.

Sonakshi is vocal about telling Dev & Ishwari because she is worried about Soha being affected by the revelation that her parents, her brother, her dadi, nana nani, basically everyone whom she knew as her family, were not really her family, that she was an outsider. It would be a devastating truth for anyone to accept & Soha is just a child. It could emotionally scar & cripple her for life. Neither Dev & Ishwari would have told Soha the truth even if Sonakshi had not asked them to do so. Dev certainly wouldn't. Without even understanding how the truth could impact a child who is grieving the loss of a dear person whom he knew as his father just the previous day, Dev told Ayush the truth only because both he & his mother were impatient to have their son/ grandson taking his rightful place in the Dixit family & Dixit house. For Dev, Soha is still his princess, his daughter & he would never want her to feel insecure of her place in her parents' (Devakshi's) heart. To all intents & purposes, Soha is their daughter & will always remain so. Ishwari too would not intentionally want to reveal the truth to Soha unless & until Ayush is denied his rights as Dev's son & heir just because of Soha. In that scenario, she might end up blurting out the truth as for her blood relations are over & above other bonds.

Dev erred in revealing abruptly the truth to Ayush & that too at a time, when he ( Ayush) was at his lowest point in his life. He had just lost the only parent he had. He might not be Rohit's biological son but they both loved each other dearly & he would have been in shock & and Dev added fuel to it by turning his world upset down by revealing that his entire life has been a lie. He is not who he thought he was. His parents were not his real parents. This would have traumatized him & hence he finds it difficult to accept Devakshi as his parents &,Ishwari his dadi.. For him, he already had/ has a father, mother & grandparents. From Dev's point of view, he gained a son , not lost a daughter. As per his thinking & rightly so, he now has not 2, but 3 children. So he will never divulge the truth to Soha unless Ishwari forces him to do so. This time it remains to be seen if he will bow down to his mother's pressure & send Soha away from Dixit family so as to ensure Ayush's rightful place as his heir or whether his love for his daughter takes precedence over his mother's wishes. Hopefully, this time he is man enough to stand up for the right & accept his responsibilities towards his non biological beloved daughter rather than just bowing down to Ishwari's prejudiced thinking of blood relations being greater than all other bonds.
