Of all the movie that could have been mentioned, Baghban is the chosen one , I guess a lot of people identified with villainous kids.

MOST films are preachy. Even the ones where people say "iT wAs NoT pReAcHy" - just because it was a good film LOL
Tbh, I don't even mind preachy. As long as it's a good film and a good honest message.
PREACH TO ME ALL DAY LONG! LORD!! HALLELUJAH!!!

Isn't Baghban a copy of HW movie?
(I am not countering your post, rather I agree with the content, this is just an additional questions, carrying on with your post)
IDK. I'm not aware it was a copy of a Hollywood movie. Do you know which one?

Make Way for Tomorrow, movie from 1930s.
Even I am a little surprised that Baghban is the popular choice 😆 I didn't exactly find it preachy, as another member mentioned it's just melodrama multiplied tenfold, though it does depict some reality if not complete. But well there are other interesting perspectives related to the concept that I have read here and I kinda like this thing about this forum so it's all good 😆Of all the movie that could have been mentioned, Baghban is the chosen one , I guess a lot of people identified with villainous kids.
Bhagban. I saw it with my parents in theatre and my mom hated how bechara amitabh was portrayed. How does a bahu know that he will keep karvachauth ka fast and that typewriter thing. Dude stop being so melodramatic. 🤔
All deshbhakti movies, The notion of putting country over family etc is an outdated concept. Countries change all the time, Before 1947, Pakistan and India were same, before 1971, Pakistan and Bangladesh were same. Before 1992, the Ukrainians and Russia were same. Deshbhakt movies all around the world are just money making business and thankfully US has gotten over it now.
Amitabh's performance was so heartfelt though ❤️ His character brought me to tears 😭Originally posted by: Moodyblue

She's so cute. She should be given more chances by good production houses i feel. https://youtu.be/Ohy9JCMv8tA?si=rlAkTM68SSpN9iR1
