Who cares what movie made how much at the box office when you don’t even remember them 2 weeks later. Imagine having to research and list out what the box office verdict is. 🤣

Not a fan of either Aamir or Akshay but I’ll go with Aamir. He had PK and Talaash which were both likable. I personally enjoyed Secret Superstar and Dhobhi Ghat the most. Dhoom 3 and Thugs were garbage.

Akshay is a junk food hero. His films are what you watch when you’re bored and want an outing and watch whatever is playing. And his films are always playing because he releases one like every month.
I genuinely don’t know what the 90% of films Akshay made are. Like I literally have to google them to remember what they are. The only good and watchable film in his lineup is Good News. His entire filmography is forgettable trash.

Box office collections and verdicts are important if you're talking about who is the bigger star. It's not about personal preference.

Whose film is a bigger hit, who has more hits and who can bring more people to theatres, that matters.

Akshay is a star among the 'masses'. He does films that are terrible enough to make tons of money. But it's hard to tell. In the past decade a lot of people loved hating on Aamir because of the intolerance debate. So many people see him as some kind of a traitor for saying that . That coupled with his name ..probably induced a lot of prejudice and affected the ratings of his films. Akshay played his cards well.

Akshay is a bigger star and Aamir is the better artist. ( Gotta add how bad Aamirs reality Satyameva Jayate was. Almost as bad as Akshays films. With the over the top acting and poor scripts )
