Basically Fateh was trying to trap Jasmine in marriage by not telling her the truth. She was right to call off the wedding to give time to Fateh and their relationship.

Currently Fateh is married with Tejo, but he still loves Jasmine and she loves him too. Who is coming in between? Tejo.

But since Fateh and Jasmine have realised they love eo, don't you think it's better for them to come clean.

But Tejo sleeping with Fateh shows how characterless she is from the inside while putting a sanskari front.

If Tejo was a skirt chaser, then he'd be sleeping with multiple girls, left and right. He's been attracted to Tejo. And sexual attraction is not just based on physical looks alone. It's also brought on by personality, conversation, etc. There's a reason he not once thought about Jasmine while he was with Tejo that night. Jasmine was an afterthought for him that night.

For Tejo, that's her husband, her sister moved on (Tejo can't read her sister's mind) and earlier even gave consent for Tejo to marry him. So no, Tejo isn't characterless. Nor is her sanskari a front. She's attracted to her husband and acted on that. There's nothing wrong with it from a legal, moral, or religious stand point. But infidelity is wrong on all fronts.

Jasmine's fault is after giving Fateh up, she now is actively pursuing him when she knows he's married to her sister, of all people.

She should have let Fateh go, but she couldn't. I'll never say she was wrong to break up with Fateh in the first place - she can live her life however which way she wants to. I've also broken off an engagement. Life happens and you prioritize whats more important to you. She was never really wrong about that.

What's wrong is now her trying to come in between Tejo & Fateh by trying to win Fateh back and making sure he doesn't forget her or move on from her. That's ridiculous. She's not only driving Fateh crazy, she's betraying her own sister. THAT is the worst part of all this. She did not once go to her sister and say, I love Fateh, I want him back, please let him go. It's as if she's forgotten that Tejo is her sister at all.

And no, Tejo did not do the same thing to Jasmine because Jasmine consented to it and Tejo did everything in front of Jasmine. What, Tejo was supposed to stay married to Fateh and remain celibate out of courtesy to her sister? Never have children? Never want a real husband-wife relationship? Then why stay married anyway?

srk preity gets married very young n has child quickly, but as they grew up, they realized how diff they r, the feeling also escalated due to circumstance like srk's accident, inability to work full time, finance crunch etc.....

Cheating is cheating if you feel so all apart. Have you ever let your spouse know. Tried to work on relationship. In every relationship time came when you have to work on relationship. That doesn't mean you start cheating your partner. If attempt to reconciliation will not work. Than take divorce and go for other relationship. Matlab problem relationship mein aayi nahi chakaar chala liya. Kuch bhi dikhate hai. Cheating ko justify karne ki media ne hodh laga rakhi hai. Agar aise talaq hone lage aur sab cheating karne lage koi shaadi 1 saal bhi na chale. Maturity means work on your relationship not start cheating.

I think the point with KANK was that the rifts made sense on some level, even if cheating is and was still not justified, it at least had some back story for the cheating spouse.

Here, Fateh was left and humiliated by Jasmine and Tejo supported him with no expectation. He was the one who initiated the consummation and Tejo was willing so she went ahead. Even marriages in west cannot be annulled post that.

EMA is tried and tested and works because people keep waiting for it to be resolved, but in this case, it is on the disgusting side because of the jija sali relationship, the complete lack of guilt/ remorse from both the sides and the fact that Fateh has no "realistic" reason to have problems with Tejo to cheat.
