Her Own Hero - Rooting for Tejo

TEJO IS HER OWN HERO. She is her own soulmate. I wanna see her kick a$$ in this show and prove that a woman doesn’t need a man to have a fulfilling life. In fact TEJO is the only character who has the capability to soar high, fulfilling her dreams. She is smarter than Jasfa combined lol (Jasfa are an insult to smart folks actually so will not even call them smart). Tejo is the only character who can drive the story’s original concept to success. I want her to become so career-oriented, making it to the top, serving as an inspirational icon for accomplished women/single women/ unapologetic bada$$ women.

will only ROOT FOR TEJO in this show! She is the main HEROINE and HER OWN HERO. Cheers to SELF-LOVE ! 🍻 relationships with others don’t always equate to happiness, and especially if you have toxic partners aka CHAMELI AND FATEH one would rather marry themselves than end up with a partner like these two. Tejo can cultivate a relationship with herself on a deeper level, and that’s honestly what I wanna see, Tejo solo ship sailing freely. It won’t ever sink like Jasfa ship, two immature people on a ship are bound to sink

Oh how I would watch this show if this were to happen....but again it is ITV and a woman can never be independent. Poor Tejo needs that a*s of a husband

It’s the 21st century and ITV honestly has not progressed :/ I’m so disappointed with story tracks, male characterizations, and how female leads are made into abla nari types bahaaying aansu 24hrs 👎🏼 there has to be a way to get these creative directors to listen to our suggestions, I don’t know if creating and signing petitions would do anything :| people created all sorts of petitions for Bigg boss but I don’t think any of them were successful even having more than 100 k signatures :/

They give entertainment tax to goverment in huge amounts 😂

Why would they be stopped from entertaining

anyone here watched nisha Aur uske cousins? I think it aired on star plus long time ago but I liked the characterization of the female lead. She wasn’t a “bechari,” she was a tomboy and it felt good seeing a female protagonist in that form, because otherwise they are always so feminine. Nisha lived life on her own terms and didn’t give a fck about society’s opinion. She had the confidence to question social norms and raised her voice against injustice.

I think I might watch Churails webseries. Heard it’s progressive and feminist...my type. I’m giving up on ITV :/

ITV always gives the FL a love interest she ends up with so we aren’t getting a women commit to herself 😭

I’ve only seen one show with that ending and I guess it didn’t have very high TRP

The problem is that we as a progressive audience amount to a very small amount of the show's viewers.

The majority comprises of people who enjoy gossiping about such content and storyline, if a women is shown as too progressive and successful without a husband, it would attract accolades from our side but ire from the majority.

The show would be disgraced for defying the norms and going against cultural values (namely marriage) and influencing young women. Hence, not gaining the required amount of TRP.

Then what do the makers do after marrying off the FL? Show cheating tracks and saas-bahu farce plus the much rampant 'every woman needs a man' trope which ends up glorifying conservative customs.

It's sad but true. ITV audience is still not ready for revolutionary shows.
