It would basically mean turning Mandar's character as main cos that's proper marriage. Just cos of that they'll have to go with Fake Mandaar.

Else, I would have loved the plot to show that this is original Mandaar. That would be a better & more interesting watch, how Mandaar did what he did to get away from a Toxic Parent who was determined to rule him all his life.

Me too, but i guess that is also my bias for getting to watch Ashok more.

The divorce set up was done really good in Beintehaan. But I think in Muslim community they just can't remarry again. The wife has to marry someone else and get divorced again to be eligible to remarry the first husband. That is where the Trps went Tata bye bye. But hey that was the concept - the PH came out gave explanations and what not but nope it did not work. They even got good boy actor to do the second lead to see if the audience will like the second pairing but nope it did not work. Ultimately they made second lead a bad guy and so the leads unite again.

I had stopped watching Beintehaa by that time. But ik Zain and Aliya had gotten divorced and there was sth along the lines of remarriage.
