I think they would have to cos they can't go with the Invalid Marriage of RaghVi as per ITV standard rules cos the Main Lead Couple ke saath the audience would not digest it.

It would basically mean turning Mandar's character as main cos that's proper marriage. Just cos of that they'll have to go with Fake Mandaar.

Else, I would have loved the plot to show that this is original Mandaar. That would be a better & more interesting watch, how Mandaar did what he did to get away from a Toxic Parent who was determined to rule him all his life.

ITV is too much dominated by TRP audience. Kisi aur country ka(outside this subcontinent) drama hota toh they would've shown it. Yahan pe starting mein hi Raghav versus Mandaar dhishoom dhishoom. And other characters are just there for entertaining themselves.

This similiar plot was there , but that was a part of the law where they cannot remarry the same person as far I remember that was the entire concept there
