If Starplus wants to impress the digital and smart audience then they can turn 9 to 10 pm slot into limited series slot like telecast 3 shows bi weekly from Mon to Sat. One for Mon-Tues, Two for Wed-Thurs, Three for Fri-Sat. In this time slot they can try all the unique content they want to try. Dedicating atleast 1 slot to 3 bi weekly shows wont be a loss deal. Rest slots will be for typical daily soaps. I think like how Colors is utilizing 9 pm slot SP can try something different too.

Yes , sp can also try something different but pehle Colors new show 9 pm slot ka response dekhna hoga agar response thoda bhi better hua to prime time pe diff genre show ke chances badh sakte hai

@blue Totally agree .....pahle mass audience hi content based shows ko support nhi karenge toh unka kou future hi nhi hai ITV me.....imean agr yeh log support karenge toh jaake tv channels bhi acha content produce karenge na .....bina trp ke koun aise loss kar wayega

@purple Yup now jo content premium audience ko chahiye woh totally OTT pe hai so woh already ott pe move ho chuke hai nd unko ab wapas tv pe laana is too difficult as kisiko bhi shows with ads nhi dekhne hai jab ki wahi shows ott pe without ads available hai (if you subscribe ott platforms or download epi)

Imean koi quality show hoga toh bhi kisiko tv ke saamne baithke nhi dekhna hoga woh bhi with ads in bern show (talking abt premium audience)

@yellow Mai toh phirbhi channel nhi subscribe karunga .....imean for ex sp ki price hai 50rs nd content accha hai to it means 12 month ka hua 600 rs but yahi sab shows mai hotstar ke 365 rs pack me dekh sakta hu (talking abt vip pack jo mera last yr tha) pkus aur bhi dusre channel hai usme

Premium audience might move to ott is correct but people also miss watching tv tv mein kuch alag hi maza hota hai, if premium channels comes ppl watch from both ott and tv

Agar har channel premium hojaya so viewers have no choice but to watch them ppl will accept urban contemt
