He stood there watching her dance in the rain ,splashing in the puddles caused by rain. She let out a full throttled laugh as mud clung onto her clothes . The anklets on her feet shining bright as the sun adorning and adding beauty to the mesmerising scene. He could have written an ode at that moment detailing her every moment ,her every move as she glowed with happiness as she became one with her first love.
This had always been a topic of argument between them, she loved the rain while he disliked it to the core . To her it brought new life, hope of a new beginning washing away past worries and cries. While to him it only made the ground wet ,atmosphere cloudy leaving no chance of enjoying a much needed walk . As the streets where too muddled and filled with frogs and unwanted creatures.

To him the scariest thing he had ever encountered was not a ghost or a monster but was losing his love to his ever charasmatic and handsome brother. She had reduced to a lifeless being hurt understanding she had only been a pawn, who was no longer needed. She had begged him to take her back, but his brother flung her away saying he was done with her. She sat humiliated scattered with emotions wavering all around.
He stood there silently crying watching her hurt knowing the pain of losing one's love. He wanted to gather her in his arms letting her know that he was there and would not let her fall.
When he could take it no more he had gone to her and wiped her tears and firmly pulled at her hand, she first reluctant looked at him with hurt in her eyes. Pain that he knew too well ,it was that of a shattered belief once known. He drew her out of her shell, bringing her out her grief . He told her how with time her heart would heal, the tears would slowly recede . The unrequited hope melting away as the pain would one day cease to exist. Even though it had not gone as they had planned it was time to move on and stand. That the world keeps on moving so should they as they could grow stronger holding each others hands.
She tried but failed breaking at each step but he didn't give up stood like a wall ready her to catch her every time she failed. Try to forget ur past and listen to me for a second he whispered as he slowly touched his forehead to hers. And said Tejo kaur Sandhu hear me out to what i am going to say as this is the first and the last time I'm ever going to express. I'm not going anywhere. I won't leave ,I am going to be here every time u need. U can doubt me. U can push me away thinking I'd leave anyway but it will never be true. As no matter how many million reasons there are for me to leave .... Ur the only reason for me to stay. As I Amrik singh virk am in love with u .
