Yes...this plastic bahu stands no chance against our Imlie. Imlie ki saasumaa might be angry at her now but she still let Imlie give everyone a piece of her mind before shutting her up with the token we have still not accepted you & I am still naaraz at you face😆. I found Apu cute today in her nakhra with Imlie & her complaining to Pankaj about her childish dream😳. You can see that they have at least accepted that Imlie is Adi's wife & Didi is their past bahu. So progress in their stance. And today Apu was also focused on her hurt by Adi who has disappointed them. She did not target Imlie today. So that was another plus point.

I loved how he said then should he wear a skirt & dance with pom poms like a cheer leader to cheer her. Hilarious bit 😂🤣. He sees mischief light up in her eyes at the visual so he asks her to shut up & focus one her padhai instead of such stupidity😆.

Phir he had to hide a smile as he turned away so that she doesn't see her cute antics did make him smile😆.......daant ka cover bhi toh maintain karna hota hai😆

Such a joru ka ghulam he is😆. He knows he will do as he asks but apni image bhi maintain karni hai😆. His smile was precious 😍.

That last face he made while saying, "best bahu competition? What nonsense".....LOL ekdum bang on tha.....

not that i remember much from the bakwaaas scenes my mind has developed amazing skills of blocking the bakwaas out but i liked him esp saying ke STOP using imlie that was my fav part and only line that sticked with me. baaki i have developed amnesia about iss aurat ka presence just like people have regarding her faults.. dunno how long this willl last but for now meehh i am kinda proud of myself for this nely acquired qaulity of mine ghanta farak padta hai kya bakwwas kare amaizng na 2 sec wali prachi babhu and her horrible wig got registered too but not didi rofl oh well

Felt bad that Sundar got insulted unnecessarily yet he tried his best to protect Imlie from getting further humiliated. Follow up par toh Ts' humiliation were the focus more than Imliya as you mentioned. 😆

Imlie is truly going the passive way of attempting to eradicate their conflicts as she feels responsible for their discomfort & believes that baaki SM sambalegi. Adi then without saying a word picks up the bedsheets. Ending with a cupping moment was sweet.

Adi-Imlie scene #2:

Adi's point of "best bahu thing" as a way to win Aparna's heart has converted "adi-pagal Imlie" to "puri-pagal Imlie." Trying to tell her to focus on her studies, but Imlie thinking Ts & her issue as a whole. If she can dance despite being under the weather, then best bahu competition se toh jang bhi jeet sakti h Imlie. Imlie only wants BS' support & hosla by becoming a chiriagirls. LULs, shehri langoor wearing skirt & doing gymnastics. . LOL, jk sorry this moment was just cute 🤪.Then, BS just orders her to continue with her studies before he secretly chuckles over best DIL contest.

aww yes thanks for mentioning it.. Poor sundar tak nahi bacha of gossiping aunties ka kehar and shows exactly what sort of cheap mentality such women hold.. he was so embarrassed and yehi baatein imlie doesn't want the most and hurt her the most ke aur log bhi raggade jaa rahe hain aise hi but i did liekd sundar's BFF mode too ke bas keh dia tu nahi jaayegi .. aww khud insult leli but imlie ko bachana hai now that is what doing something means *cough didi * tumse acha toh sudnar hai sirf bakwaas nahi akrta of karna chahta hoon actually karta hai and how but then main kahan pital or sone ka comparision kar di sudnar is khara sona of an insaan while didi is sirf sone ka paani chadha pital and even that is too much of status upgrade for her...

i just added a similar point too but yes aparna let imlei handle them .. i was also amazed at the striking similarity the scene had for how simialr aparna and imlei are as people as ghar ki bahus too for aparna too parivaar ki izzat is a step too far same for imelia they were not only berrating her but the whole family and there is a moment where thye showed aparna ka closeup and her slowly wiping her tear behind imlei it is almost like she is proud of imlie and is noticing that same love and fierceness and khandaan ke liye khade hona the qualities aparna herself posess in Imlie as it has always been aparna answering for family's behalf all the time since forever ..

yes i was so glad too that aaj there was a switch with the bakwaas too and instead imlie decided to take things in her hand and fight for sabki izzat and she is 20% success already . Imlie ki koi sochi samjhi chaal nahi hai yet that is working on those whom it should work upon .. her earnesty is reachign the hearts..

Next Adi-Imlie scene we got was after Imlie tells him that she is going to participate in the Best Bahu Comp. Both Adi-Imlie were adorable with their quick quips & Adi being putty in Imlie's hand as usual😆. Adi asks her what is that & Imlie explains to him that she wants him to be her cheerleader😆. Adi quips back does she expect him to do gymnastics for her wearing a skirt as well🤣. That is one hilarious visual to imagine🤣🤣🤣. Imlie cajoles him that she will not let it affect her padhai so what is the problem. Adi maintains his stern face & doesn't argue anymore indicating that she has got his support & Imlie leaves from there. Adi breaks into a smile as soon as Imlie's back is turned😆. Jhalle kahin ke. Puts kaala teeka to protect them🤗.

My fav part of today.. imlie so candidly telling him he is all that matters to her.. nothing else does kar lein jisko jo kehna hai and karna hai for her only his thoughts his support and his opinion matters and she know he will be successful as long as she has his support and even if she does become a joke as he is cautioning her then too none of that would hold a chance infront of her having him as her Cheerleader bas aap honsla badhaoo itni choti si khwahish hai..mera pyara bacha🤗

Yes the whole cheerleader scene was my favourite for multiple reasons. Ek toh we got to see so many lighter shades of Adi-Imlie in the scene. Plus I liked how the scene was set up. Imlie was not asking permission from Adi to participate in the competition. She was informing him & trying to convince him to support her even though she understands that the competition is faltu nautanki...sab ainvayein ke chochle hain. But she still wants to participate to make her CK happy. If anything can help make her CK happy in such a trying time then Imlie will do her best to get it for her.

Even Adi though was all huffing & puffing about the uselessness of the competition & how nonsensical it is for Imlie to do anything to prove that she is the best or right bahu for anyone, he knew that she will still do her mad schemes because she genuinely wants his mom to be happy. So when Imlie said that she doesn't care about anyone & anything else as long as he supports her toh he obviously had to melt & give into her mad idea. And Imlie was so adorable with her request for him to be her "chiraya girl" that he would have even cheered her on if she wanted to take on some 👻😆.

Noone & especially BS doesn't stand a chance in the face of Imlie's adorable pleejs , thankus & promises of not letting her studies get affected. These 2 are such adorable jhalles man.

Yes I like how whatever problems are going on in between them Aparna & Imlie did come off as a team in front of the society ladies. Aparna let Imlie speak up for the family, then haq se scolded her & asked her to leave. Imlie too kept lihaaz of her sasuma & went away from there.

I also like how the show highlights the similarities between parents & kids without making it in your face by some or the other person mentioning it as it is usually done. Here we can clearly see how Adi's personality is a mixture of both his parents traits but he also has his own individuality. Similarly Aparna & Pankaj have many of the qualities that Adi has but are still different from him. As we discussed Imlie also has qualities similar to Aparna. So both the younger & older generation pair play off the similarities & contrasts beautifully.
