I was watching the show since the beginning too. I love reading fanfictions. And here on IF I discovered some gems. They were written so wonderfully. I saw how you guys interact and it was so fun. The best part about this forum is that this place is safe from the negativity. So I decided to join the forum and participate in the discussions. And here I am. Looking forward to having discussions about BB.

Makers could have shown Anirudh character as an introvert, but he should not have continued friendship with mini after his marriage keeping her respect in view

Ah understandable. I feel the makers sometimes tend to forget the show is in 1930s 😆

I am watching bb from day 1 as promos are quite promising that it is about women's empowerment ..and I am just fell for chirpy nature of bon and fierce attitude of anirudh .we can find few bold girls like bondita in our life but in reality we cannot find a single person with just 20% of anirudh's character. they have shown that both the female lead and male lead have their own imperfections unlike others dramas where male lead is mr.perfect with arrogant attitude and female lead is so intelligent, hardworking, sweet ,etc,etc... and bb is very different and the questions raised by bon are still unanswered in our society like why a girl does not have her own house, why she has only maykaa or sasural is damn right questions and unknowingly they had made couple goals which are very pure and out of this world.

I didn't like that so called creepy and cringy dastak track and so many loop holes, during early 1930's bengal was under british and no one had right to carry hand guns like ani publically and viceroys took control of every thing but they are showing like they are living in 21 st century gangstars.

sorry for the long rant...

so okay, I'll be only honest, first of all, I didn🤢't have any idea what is this show!😃

once tv was on and a promo came in ndtv[new channel] I saw bondita and had fallen in 30-sec promo🤣

So I googled what is this child marriage,bondita....

and there was a Wikipedia which led me to the most beautiful show, barrister babu when I started watching shows,4 ep had been telecasted and I would fight with anyone like plz just spares me 30 min, and here am still watching,I never stopped watching the show, coz🤪

it said by Dilip Kumar,''A character can never be greater, sinner than the script and story''👍🏼

what is it like about the show?- well the theme, emotions of the character and a simple agenda for women rights. characters, each of them were like a part of me😎

what I dislike about the show? well, it's nothing but dragging scenes, heavy dialogues to a 12-year girl,I hate those VMS that gives bad lessons, using all romantic music.🤬

barrister babu is an escape from worldly things just to imagine, yet there must be something done for women in the era, they must have a good life.

I love the show, but somewhere I see the old chram is declining, as well as new charm, is taking!⭐️

so this is my experience!

I have been honest though😆

First of all thank you so much for tagging me.

The idea of the show felt very unique. I know we have seen this concept for a long time in many serials but this retelling felt different, more woman centric so I was intrigued. Plus the actors were totally new, the promos amazing which strengthened my wish to watch the show.

I watched consistently for a few months then I kind of gave up when they started giving bon dialogues too mature for her age or putting her in situations which no child should face. When Mini completely went bonkers, I stopped watching consistently and totally stopped when sampu came to RC mansion.

Truth to be told, I always was interested in post leap story ever since the show was announced. I wanted the leap to take place just two months into the show. But makers delayed it and introduced horrible tracks but I still decided to give the show a chance when they finally took the leap

And I totally am glad I watched this show again but the post leap show has been completely amazing! Specially Aanchal because I knew her from kudca and what a fine actor she has been. I love the instant chemistry of the leads and waiting to see more progressive tracks in the future!
