Similarities with another show - Page 6

Kaatelal and Sons is on Sab Tv but really good. Maddam sir is also quite unique but these shows don't get much TRP :(

I don't know what exactly that show was about but I have noticed colors TV fascination on making shows with obscene storyline. Like some shows I didn't dare watch looking at the promos as I was shocked such content was romantasized like silsila badalte rishton ka and bepanha with extra marital affairs and then the weirdest two shows I came across I guess it aired on TV a couple of years back I guess with Rashmi desai where they tried to show the ML having two wives and justifying it gosh that's scary whoever the creative heads of this channel are definitely need to visit a psychiatrist to make sure their OK. Another weird one was I guess some barrister babu that I watched with a friend at her house. The lead child actresse was cute so I began watching the episode praising her acting skills but to my horror as the episode progressed that tiny girl I don't how old she is began talking sindoor and began plotting to get her husband back. I mean how could you get a small girl of that age to recite such shit it's disgusting I mean this really affects the mindset of kids that age. And now with fatehs obsession it's getting out of hand I've already been to regret coming to watch a hindi show after naamkaran being the only one I watched for a couple months without fail because I admired the male lead who stood up for his wife when she was wronged and even left the house when she was character assainated.

But colors just scares me and amazes me that such content is even allowed to air. I guess just today somebody spoke about some show called madhubala where the female lead is r**** and the male lead justifies his act like God where is our country heading no wonder more youngsters are switching to OTT platforms. I guess I'm happy watching my marathi movies and other regional movies and might just go back to it. I don't know how long I'll continue watching udaariyan if it continues the current track. And even if fatejo happens I dont think I'll be to happily digress fateh heads over heels over Tejo or he earnestly trying to woo her. I guess enough ranting for the day.

Honestly I'm not shocked/surprised because I've studied gender way too much,especially in desi context. What is horrible in Colors is they romanticize, redeem these characters which is the typical desi mindset that if you stick long enough, you're gonna change the man. Marital rape is normal in India, Bhagat Singh accurately described desi weddings as a form of prostitution(dude was a revolutionary in every sense). You know India is one of the few nations in world where marital rape is not a crime. So all in all I am not surprised. And this is why I watch Hollywood shows. You can critique them but theyre not vomit worthy.

Red: One of the worst, the guy did not even regret cheating on his wife. He actually had the audacity to say he was proud of it. What is more sick was the fandoms that actually shipped them!

Green: The show is Dil se Dil tak... started watching from episode 20 ish because of it's fresh content ( surrogacy) then I understood ver quickly it is taking the typical route, dropped it. Later saw the promo and the two wives sh*t. The good part about the show was the the two women were both positive none of them turned completely negative characters or tried to plot against the other. Even though the were NOT sisters. And her Jasmean had just...well forgotten everything Tejo ever did for her.

Blue: Never watched it never will. Nothing in my opinion will ever justify child marriage. Imagine how awkward shooting in set would have been. Just pure disgusting.

Pink: Yes, but OTT also has some questionable content (a discussion for later) but a much better option than ITV.

I have never been big on ITV shows. I start many and never end up following them for a long time. Anyways the rant is prettu justified and I completely resonate with you! Honestly not only colors but all other channels have promoted some questionable stuff.

I agree but I'm not really aware much about most shows but I remember in boarding school sitting there during television time watching TV shows which our warden made us watch. I was not really aware of them till 7 grade as until then we used to watch movies and cartoons as the secondary section was different from primary section in school. At home there was no way I could view such content as I didn't grownup with a TV in my house as my mom believed it mushes ur brains. We at home would watch movies on the weekend as we used to have movie nights and watch it in our home theatre but that too we used to have to earn those movie nights which we got after out every week spelling bee test and if we passed those we got to watch movies but in school left with no option we had to watch it until she was done and we could have the remote. Gosh I mean it was way in 12th that my mom brought a TV at home. But I must say I had a sane happy childhood spending most of my time playing soccer and outdoor games. But nowadays kids younger to us just are watching TV or on the phone. On OTT yes I agree completely with you that it to has alot of questionable content. I myself came across some but at least there is variety which u can pick from but on TV the hindi belt dosen't provide any it's the same shit everywhere. Yes even zee and star plus are no less the most recent that I saw some clips off ghkpm on YouTube God the family is psychotic and regressive. Atleast the FL stands up and fights back. She isn't docile unlike other shows where the FL can never even think off raising her voice and talking back and temper issues that is probably something they must have never heard off. They have to be two goody feet all the time. She has flaws and that is something I appreciate.
