If you come back home pregnant, then you are not allowed in my house, i will disown you, and anyone who supports "kya kehna" type of nonsense, asked them to keep you in the house and feed you and your baby.

Also not mixing school is preferable for me as well.

My house my rule. Discipline, breakfast on time, come back home in time and sleep on time.

Umm.... okay but this is not the answer to my question.

However, I'll leave it to my better half (if at all I have one) to do the talking... I'm scared what all unwanted info I might pass...

What if your child is a boy? Would you still leave it to your wife to explain her son about sex?

Adults do understand infatuation is not love but do children understand that.

I remember my dad's words when I started 10th.

He said, "I would prefer you date, experience crushes romantic love etc and then eventually marry the man you think you can spend the life with. However I would really be proud of you if you do that when you are financially independent and prioritize this time you have to become financially independent

A date is worth going to only if you have the money in your wallet that you have earned yourself."

I plan to tell the same to my son. And pray and hope he understands that I say that with a concern for him and not money. Just like my dad did.

Does that mean you would be okay with your kid dating if he or she is earning from a young age?

I hope you understand what being financially independent means. Its very different from earning your own pocket money.

I became financially independent at 23. I started dating then. If my kid manages to do that earlier that would be sufficient proof to me that he is mature enough to handle dating and relationships and doesnt need my permission to live his life the way he wants.
